When I checked immediately after downloading 1.0, the Steam Cloud Sync option was nowhere to be found, so since it was there during the beta it must have been removed (perhaps temporarily).

If the Steam Cloud isn't restoring them then the in-game delete should get rid of them.
But i cant find the option to turn it off like for fallen enchantress.
True. It was there during the beta, but now that I've updated to release 1.0, I don't see it anymore. Maybe it was giving so many problems that they disabled it.
It's a mystery to us players. This is the 3rd thread I've seen asking the same question. I've been playing on normal with small and medium maps so that I could complete games between beta updates, and I've been getting scores in the low teens, with culture, alliance, and military victories. Yet someone on the metaverse has a 4000 point game on normal difficulty.
Turn off the Steam cache.
Finished my last beta game last night and watched the credits roll ... Thanks, Stardock, for listing all us founders in the credits.
If your second bug was that your ships just floated around in the viewer and didn't appear to fire any weapons while the pirates slowly died, then that's a bug I opened a ticket for and sent in a game that would reproduce the problem. Hopefully it'll get fixed.
Revenge: Recapture your homeworld
Now that's going to be tough to get. I've never lost my homeworld in GC, GC2, or GC3 without losing the game.
I like it, especially the minimap and the resources.
Check out this post.
I once saw something perhaps similar. I explored an anomaly, fought pirates. Then went on to do some other things to try to recreate a bug. After recreating the bug I quit the game, reloaded a saved game from just before I explored the anomaly, explored it again, and this time there were no pirates. Made me think that the pirates are distributed amongst the anomalies at game load time.
As mentioned in another thread, turn off "Trails" in the graphics options. The developers are working on a fix for that problem. If you still see the problem after that, open a support ticket.
Done. First review I've ever written on Steam.
I can confirm that with the latest patch the tooltip for approval does show the approval relics.
Apparently these weren't fixed as of the patch from last night.
I've got the same, so I'm also interested in the answer. I know large works, and I suspect huge will too, but insane?
Quoting Dumhed, reply 19 Nexus is a site dedicated to modding... many modding communities for different games use it - though not all. I may be mistaken, but my impression is that it has decreased in overall use with the development of the Steam workshop.
I would love to see a turn time limit (at least for mp), so you are forced to reduce your micro to important stuff.
Fine for MP, but it has to be an option for single player. When my wife interrupts me with a complicated question I prefer not to yell "Shut up, I have to change the output sliders of all my research planets before time runs out!"
I prefer to play on large maps with lots of habitable planets, so after they stop changing the code every day I'll go back to that. I remember Mumblefratz's exploit in GC2 of building a huge array of military starbases overlapping their zones and then sending as many huge hulled 1 attack 1 defense ships as you could to get them all buffed by the starbases. I tried that once and decided it was more fun to role-play than to try to max out a metaverse score. But I found
Skyrim is definitely a masterpiece.
Yeah, but only 400 hours? The guy must have a job and family or something.
I've seen many people advise to use Nexus or another site instead of the Steam workshop, since (they say) if a mod gets updated Steam will automatically install the update for you, which can break Skyrim saved games. The way GC3 seems to bake everything into the saved game at the start makes me wonder if this is a valid concern for GC3 mods. If not, it seems that the workshop would be the way to go.
I was so burnt out after the Beta test for Elemental and FE that I haven't played them since. This will NOT be the case for GC3.

This is an example of not knowing what to expect from the governors.
I tried that a week ago (long time with all these updates coming out), told it to change all starports building a Mk2 to start building a Mk3, and yet I kept getting Mk2s produced for multiple turns after that.
