Frogboy when asked if he'll give us Crusade info soon:
charon2112
This is awesome, thanks Brad. I loved reading the GCII stories. Please call Tom Francis and have him bang out a couple too. :)
When the computer are considering war against a civilization they also consider the military strength of the allied.
They definitely should do this. Also, if you are declared war upon, allies should have to break the alliance (rare) or join the fight. But if YOU declare war, it should be different, less of a chance of joining maybe.

Has SD at any point acknowledged how useless alliances are right now? or mentioned that they will be redone? It's killing diplomacy based games for me. If allies won't come to your defense when you're attacked, they're pretty useless.
Is version 2.0 the same as Crusades?
I'm very sorry. I lost my brother a few years ago, a close sibling is a terrible loss.
Go to Diplomacy -> Treaty Details(Bottom left) -> Click on the Treaty -> Click Break Treaty
Perfect. Thanks!
I'd like to declare war on an ally but can't figure out how to break the alliance. Are alliances permanent?
You find that current invading is too easy? I have a hell of a time taking over any planet. :(
thanks guys
Nope. Yor can start out very slow but once you have a high production planet or two, you can pump out population like crazy and use colonizer/transport ships to move them to where they are needed most. I've been able to populate many worlds very quickly this way.
So I can't really do anything until I build at least fast assembly? And even that just adds 4 population right?
Stupid question I'm sure, but how do I increase the Yor population? All I see so far is Fast Assembly which takes forever to build, so my planets are all 1 population. What am I missing? Thanks!
Nope you don't have to build something on a trade resource to get it's effect. As a matter of fact, you can't build anything on them at all (you can destroy them to make room for buildings if you want though). They work by giving you whatever effect they say they have; all you have to do to receive their effect is to own the planet they are on. And their effects are cumulative, despite what the misleading descri
Do you have to build something on trade resources on planets to get their effects? How do trade resources work exactly? Thanks.

Did I stump all of the modding experts with this one? :) Any help would be appreciated.
Hi guys. Is there an existing mod (and if not, do you know which values I need to change) that allow me to zoom in closer to the map while still keeping the strategic icons? Thanks...!
