I am looking forward to talking to you guys about Tall strategies.
I am looking forward to that! But before that, how about the first step: the admin system? Are we gonna get it sooner, as a part of 1.9X or something like that?
Hey, internal politics are coming back, aren't they?
I definitely hope so!
Frankly, it kind of bugs me that I can't talk about it now but marketing would have me killed. And I really like being alive. It's my favorite form of existence.
Well, maybe you can post severel sneak peaks into the vault? ;)
I want to get the Administration feature in. Just not sure the best way to do it that doesn't require a ton of UI work.
This feature is crucial right now. We just need more options based on tall strategies? Why don´t you implement it like a another resource, which is required for starbases etc.? Shouldn´t take much of the UI work, me guess :)
Broadly speaking: - Espionage - Interactive Invasion sys
Thanks for the hard work. Was hoping however that new administration system will make it into this one, finally. Hopefully it is not postponed till Crusade...
Still no administration? Tsss [e digicons]>_>[/e]
The next thing on my list is the small empire / administrative resource that will control not just how many starbases you have but a lot of other things. I am trying to get that in today.
Hoah, Frogboy! Keep 'em coming! You rock, man :)
until we get the new Administration cost stat implemented
And that will be approximately when? [e digicons]:cylon:[/e]
Will administration be part of this? I am not sure about many changes without that, starbase distance reduction being the most flagrant [e digicons]>_>[/e]
Starbase minimum distance reduced from 5 to 3 tiles.

Politics. I am probably alone on this but it's a big bugaboo with me that we don't have more politics in these games.
Your definitely not alone! I consider it big mistake from the beginning of GCIII, not to include politics. It was one of the greatest and most innovative, I would even say believable points of GCII. And it made player really feel he is managing living empire, more than anything else. So yeah, finally it´s coming ba
Great news [e digicons][/e] Can´t wait, Frogboy!
Well, I am aware of that post. I was obviously asking, whether there is more details available. [e digicons]:cylon:[/e]
...and what is the ETA? ;)
Still no administration? Tall vs. wide empires? [e digicons]XO[/e] (Thanks otherwise)
Looks excellent, Brad! Thanks for the hard work. Any hints on how the administration will work? :)
Congratulations and thanks for a great game! Would appreciate to enhance administration and politics now, you know, but I am sure you have something great up your sleaves :)
I want to preface this that I really REALLY like some of the design ideas in Stellaris. But I don't want to hear one word about GalCiv III AI being "bad" by anyone praising Stelllaris. I'm not sure you can lose at Stellaris.
Yeah, the Stellaris AI is currently dumb as hell :) It cannot even be compared with Galciv AI. Hope they will fix it soon.
1.72 = administration? OH YEAH, BABY ;)
RE: Missing Offers option in the diplomacy screen - see picture bellow. Any idea why it is missing with my allies and not the foes? http://ulozto.cz/xAA92Wi7/diplo-jpg
Amazing work, pshaw! Just quick question regarding diplomacy: I do not seem to be able to ask my allies to Declare war/Embargo other civ. The option is alltogether missing in the diplo screen. Strangely, it is still there with civs I have bad relationship with (Furious, Hostile etc.). It is bug or an intented change? After all, it surely undermines diplomatic efforts ;)
I got more info. Ashes is hogging all the QA resources. So 1.7 has been submitted to QA but it hasn't passed QA yet.
Okay, thanks. How about the accompanying DLC, BTW?
I know I am kind of annoying, but will the new administration system be in? :) BTW Will the mini-constructors be destroyable? How about similar system for trade routes, aka GalcivII?
1.7 is in QA. We are probably going to do a public beta of it in the next week or so since it's a pretty big set of changes.
Great news, Brad! Is the administration systém going to be in? Thx.
[updated 2/12] AI players will no longer trade military techs with unfriendly, non-allied human players. You can still trade tech to them or trade techs to another human player.
Interesting change. Will see how that works! BTW, the red color is really necessary? Isn´t that too much tutorial? P.S.: How about the notorious missing tooltips with tactical speed? :)
Hell no. Why do you want to restrict others´ game, when you can turn it off for yourself? What needs to be improved, however, is the diplomacy AI. Sometimes, it feels too exploitative, even on higher difficulties.
