Thanks for reporting this! We will change the way the warning error displays. So that the error should no longer display if the non-compatible card isn't the main card being used. *Edit* Let me know if you need any more clarification or anything!
I'll report when I find other things. Cheers.

I don't notice anywhere where the game says it's using it, so here is a picture of my GPU activity when running the game.
Okay, Here is the updated one https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/75549875/GalCiv3/Alpha/debug/debug040314update.err I thought this forum post of nVidia might be helpful. https://forums.geforce.com/default/topic/535865/dxdiag-problem-/ I'm also on the IRC #GalCiv if you ne
Are you forcing the Nvidia card via the Nvidia Control Panel?
Yes, I am. I always have it set that way. This bug was present in FE:LH. It is a bug with dxDiag as well. It doesn't detect the nVidia 555m video card, because of the optimus. I'm running an old Alienware m14x
Sorry, fixed the link. https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/75549875/GalCiv3/Alpha/debug/debug040314.err Note: The game runs, so this is not a high priority fix for me.
I will have final editorial say on star names. So "SmellyFart453" isn't likely to make the cut.
Is that because of the numbers or does the name just stink? [e digicons]:troll:[/e]
Different employees work on different games. There is no reason to write an new engine for FE:LH, why would these programmers have to be on the FE:LH project? Do we really need 10 artists working on FE:LH at the moment? Most the Art is done. There is a few things to correct yes. I say that FE:LH is completed, but there are improvements that I would like to see... especially in this patch. I'd like to see it done, but I'd like to see GalCiv 3 get done as well. I would like to see the n
But really, that will be a PAIN to see stupid things like "IslandDog" or "Tassadarpaladin"...
You realize that IslandDog is the screen name of an employee of Stardock, and does a great job. I cannot see why a name like that cannot be accepted. I'm sure if you donate 1 million dollars to an astronomer a year, he would let you name a star what ever you like and it would be historically recorded as such. Who knows, there might be stars named this way when we begin to t

https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/75549875/GalCiv3/Alpha/debug/debug040314.err Here is the debug-error file. I just upgraded to the next iteration of the alpha, when I start the game it produces a warning stating that my video drivers are out of date for my intel cpu video card (HD 3000). I am running Optimus(tm) and the correct video card currently running the game is the nVidia o
I know, but mining outposts do not destroy the asteroid.. I want to destroy them [e digicons]}:)[/e]
Can we have a Devourer type ship that will eat asteroids on the map and give a large production bonus to a planet.

The champions are good at finishing moves. I've used my champion in combat several times, but I have to set it up so that the enemy must pay a large price before they can attack the champion.

Occasionally looking in the vault and try to be the first to respond to dev statements. It's a sad hard life of reading and eye drops after midnight, but what else can we do? Wait patiently for dev posts and answers. Yea right. Lol. DARCA.
I could post over on the steam forums. Paul seems to answer
It would be nice to add 3 more icons as halfway points between wealth and production, wealth and research, and production and research. Then allow the user to click these icons to give full production or half-production and wealth, or full research. Just as a quick production wheel settings for the extreme cases.

@devs: Did you come to these conclusions from in house testing, or was it a combination of in-house and players comments? (just curious)
I wonder if anyone will name their star Willyoumarryme :)
The cause is in the options. If you disable tool-tips, it will cause them to float on the screen. It is quite annoying ;)
On 4. They have the option for named planet governors. I wonder if this is already in the works in some sense. I really would like to know what they are going to do these governors. #1, I do support that option immensely. Love to see that curved line on that circle ;)
Unfortunately with game design yes it would make more sense with hexes, but I think in square grids instead of hex ones when it comes to navigation and coordinate systems.
How productive would trade be with a failed space civilization? I wouldn't stop trade from planets, but it would be connected to your space station anyway.
