Kickstarter=blackmail. I do not like this type of way for the creation of games, nobody guarantees the release from the game and I´m sure that there are many proyects which they will not be finished even a million of years. If people want make games or other things selling them at the end, they should not use this system. At least from me, they will not take a $.
I think KickStarter is

The pirates in Endless space were boring, they were just there to annoy you in early game. I hope Pirates in Galciv III will be more original and funny.
Believe me, I have nothing against Akari ( Or the fact that she is female ) . I simply met her first in the game. Next leaders wont be better off.
What should be the Thread title and maybe an accompanying message to describe the context?

One percent over a Empire of a hundred systems or even one, is worth taking the time to plan and the wheel takes a bit more time. That's not cool. :[ DARCA. Not sure im following your there. But if you are referring to the removal of the slight rubber banding effect between your mouse cursor and the wheel dot I agree. Edit : Also, I just tried dialing in more asymetrical values such as 50%- 15%- 35% . It seems much harder than sym
The colors on the wheel are rather saturated despite my monitor having a cool/neutral tint. I guess to someone with a already colorful saturated display, they might seem excessive. It is still possible to set exact values on the wheel, It is just going to maybe take you 5 sec instead of 2. I just tried the 60/20/20 example I gave and it was easy. I guess what SD could do regarding the govern screen, is simply not hide the rest of the UI when you are in it. This way you c

The Planet List, for some reason, shows the population icon for the research value (and no icon for the manufacturing value). Personally I find it great. As far as ease of use and being able to tune it to the values I want I have no problems. I did not need any adaptation, it was just natural to use. Maybe it is not the case for everyone, our brains do not all function the same, but personally I find it obvious to use. The 3 sliders were really annoying to use because they were interrelated, so moving one would change the other. The lock mechanism was slightly buggy and the whole thing felt convolute
I really should play a game where I just build up and see how the game holds itself at larger scale. I always just rush my enemies and make a quick work of the game. For the sake of testing I should stop that.
So... anyone taking the chance to change his submitted name to Imastar?
Hope the devs have a plan for duplicate names, Now everybody will want to name their star Imastar and we will have multiple Imastars in the game. I also officially retract my 5$ paypal gift offer. That promo is expired.
I think it should be auto-upgrade by default, like GalCiv 2, but with an option to turn this feature completely off in the game options. Personally I would leave it always off. But I think It should be on by default. Edit: To clarify my position, we do not know yet how desirable auto-upgrade will be in the final version of GalCiv III, but in galciv II, it was annoying.
1. While my ship was moving I saw an anomaly and clicked on it but the ship completed the original planned move first and then doubled back to the anomaly. Sometimes It will simply not register the change, or register it but usually after a lag. I had myself some fun torturing the game b
Well, I am not THAT desperate. Mostly having a bit of fun tbh :p ( I was not kidding for the 5$ though )

Well, I just posted on the Game website forum. Ill wait and see if there is something getting posted back. I also had terrible flickering in the pictrure. I had to completely disable shadows for it to stop. There is also a lot of tearing with no V-sync option. I will have to fix this through my windows main video card settings I guess. If I can: -Get the game to work in borderless window mode -Get the shadows without
You should be using Early Access Feedback for any kind of bug reports or feedback I think. Support would be more used in the future when people have questions or issues about installing or using the game.
Well, I just tried the game for 10 min. And while it seems like it could be lots of fun. The camera and scrolling controls seem.... HORRIBLY BROKEN. Basically all you can do is scroll from the edge of screen, or click somewhere on the mini map. The edge scrolling is snail pace so completely usesless, and I cannot see any options to change it anywhere in the game. All I am left to do is click on the mini map to move around quickly. You cannot eve
^LoL I spontaneously though the same thing,
I used to hate Steam, I boycotted them for years. But I have changed my mind lately. When you think about it they have done some great things, and they fixed a lot of the stuff I did not like about the client. They are also pushing Linux forward into the game market. So they get my approval now.

I suspect Shipyards will be very similar to Starbase as in you can build upgrade modules to them, Including defense modules. I also suspect that they will be linked to planets in the same way that Asteroid mines are linked to planets in GalCiv2. I.E: you would see a thin moving line between the planet and shipyard representing the moving of resources .
Just go to gamersgate.Com and buy it in USD. The game is then activated on steam :)
