Now it's the case every time I launch the game. The game crashes quite often just when the game starts, but that hasn't caused any problems so far. I'll try to check the game files later, thanks.

Technology "Stellar Folding" is in dark grey color, and I unlocked all the technological ages. I did a test and the tech regains its normal color if the previous tech is available for research. I don't know if it's normal. Anyway, thanks for your help.

There are two save files , two different games, and at different times during the game. The three images are for the first save file and it's at the start of the game. In the second save file , it's not at the start of the game. In both cases, I can build large scale ships.

I play Retribution v3.96, standard races, all expansions and DLCs. I haven't used mods. Check files, okay, but what can cause game file corruption?

You mean with the save file? Edit: I haven't changed anything since the last time I launched the game. I haven't updated the game recently in case there has been one update, apart from the automatic updates for the Steam program but which do not touch the game files. What could be causing this?

I had also thought of War Profiteering for the Korx, but it would be on the same level as the Drath. In GalCiv2, the Drath civilization has two technologies related to War Profiteering: Technology "Invisible Hand" Diplomacy +25%, War Profiteering +1% Technology "War Profiteering" War Profiteering + 10% A total of +11% for War Profiteering. The Dominion of Korx civilization has only +2% for War Profiteering with the Improvement "Mercen

If the Dominion of Korx were to return to GalCiv3 as a playable race, their Ideology would certainly be Malevolent, but what would be their Civilization Traits and their Civilization Abilities? And what would be their Character Traits and Priorities? What special technologies would match their history and traditions? What if they also had a privileged relationship with pirates?
Would love to see espionage get fleshed out some more. I expect that developers as a general rule don't like saying "do X like this game", but Civ V did an excellent job with spy games and counters in my opinion. I remember reading the post you linked and I do agree with the changes you suggest, which are very extensive to me. I just don't know how much effort it would be to add all of that which is why I just suggested the counterspy. [/

Thank you, I put a lot of work in this thread. [e digicons]:)[/e]
Could we get a counterspy unit? I dislike the automatic "eye for an eye" mentality of current spy hunting. It could be cheaper or more expensive than a standard spy, with a percent chance to remove the spy from the board. Even if there were just chances for different outcomes with the Spy VS Spy situation we have now, that would be an improvement.
Look at these screenshots, the bugs mentioned are not present. It's possible. [e digicons]:)[/e] No moving hexagonal patterns on the surface area of the planet. (The map of the main screen is present, but the transparency for the background image could be reduced to reduce the nuisance.) No moving horizontal bands visible. No blue glittering area all around the surface of the planet. <img src="https://www.stardock.com/galciv3/screenshots/v3-8/

Thanks for your kind words LunarMongoose. [e digicons]:)[/e] I still hope that one day I can really play a game of "Galactic Civilizations III" and not suffer bugs all the time. In any case, Stardock will not be able to say that it is not aware of the bugs. [e digicons]:)[/e] The ball is in Stardock's court for them to achieve a great game, the best GalCiv game they have ever done, or to settle for an average game filled with bugs with a poor ent

I tried the procedure three times, the first time the bug did not appear, the other two times the bug occurred. Try performing the procedure several times to see how it goes. I do not know if this may have an impact, I launch the game with the shortcut created by Steam and select Steam in offline mode.

Thanks for your tip, but it only works halfway, the number of turns to research my technologies is still not updated in the Trade screen. And even if the durations were then updated, the user is there to have fun playing the game, not to do a lot of manipulation to make the game work. Have you ever heard of the concept of "fighting the user interface", if I have to do a whole bunch of manipulation for it to work properly, I'm not fighting other factions, I'm fighting the
