I would anticipate it would be in the late afternoon Michigan time (EST) -4:00 GMT At least that is what it was always for Galciv II pre-release content, but they could surprise us and you may have your email already :P
Seilore
According to everything they have said in the past they will email a steam key to the email you used to purchase the founders edition.
has anyone else wondered if Stardock gives tours though their building? That would be cool I think.
yes?
This is Interesting but, doesn't tell the whole story... For instance Galactic Civilizations II is at a disadvantage in those graphs being that most of the original buyers purchased the game on Impulse (GameStop) or bought retail. This being said those that went that way won't be included in that graph as when they play the game it has no affiliation with Steam. As example I purchased GalCiv II prior to the release of Dark Avatar from Best Buy, purchased a hard c
Personally what I'd like to see is an option like so there are more than 3 options, see below... Benevolent: Stay away from feline population, allow to exist in native habitat (-15% planet quality +1000bc) [If choose this there would be a random chance that the feline's would increase productivity, or research by xx% or add to weekly income by 100bc] Pragmatic: Allow feline population to remain, move to limited camps decided by govern
In GalCiv 2 this changed, because the bonuses Evil received were much higher, than any of the penalties. So what, if you suffer diplomatically and are constantly at war? The bonuses you already received made you much stronger than any of the other races, and you want to conquer them anyhow (making you even stronger in the process).
My problem with Galactic Civilizations II Twighlight of Arnor was that being good, I always found mys
Custom using either the Torian's or Thalan tech tree from twilight. :) I will miss the Torian's in Galciv III I'm sure it will be fine though as long as Custom race is still an option.
Its not alpha, not even beta? Does that mean..... its the gamma quadrant? Seriously, I think I speak for most of us when i write this: We are happy to help find bugs, suggest fixes, etc. at whatever stage GalCiv3 is at.
Although it may be in the gamma quadrant, Frogboy didn't say it's not Alpha, he said it is an Alpha ( Not </
Any new information for the Founders Vault these days, it seems there was a lot of music/screen shots right away but now only a few things every few weeks? At least Alpha is only 5 weeks away :)
We now have an official date for the Alpha (as in, this has been set as much in stone as humanly possible): March 27
Ask off work.... :)
Most fan guess's that I saw early on was middle to late February, (including myself) never saw anything sooner than that, Frogboy had been hinting at early to middle March which would still put it in line to be prior to the end of Winter. So based on that less than 5 weeks :)
Just have all games that are connected to an active Internet connection able to be monitored by a Stardock dev, which will jump in on a computer players comments and start talking to anyone razzing someone, trying to egg one on :) Just keep it a secret so people are in awe of how real the computers comments are ;) ect... Hey where are you from anyways? When you answer WI, the computer then adds, Ah, now I understand Can't play football, all they do is eat cheese lol.
I gaurantee we'll know the answer, at least in most part with-in the next 6 weeks ;)
Thanks Frogboy, hope you feel better :)
Mantle driver released http://support.amd.com/en-us/download/desktop?os=Windows+7+-+64
First off Ryat, and admiralWillyWilber, Markon, wasn't asking when the Alpha was to be released as this post wasn't asking this. It was asking if he was able to play the Alpha via live streams once it was available for us to use. As far as your question Admiral, live streams meaning broadcasting a live video of one playing the game for others to see. If I remember correctly this isn't a problem but, I'm sure Stardock will provide specifics once released.</p
Because we wanted to test the Nitrous engine in DirectX? Remember half of us are probably sitting on Nvidia cards and thus waiting for Mantle drivers "seems silly".
That's why I stuck with AMD when building my brand new pc FX9370 8 core cpu although a little light on the GPU Radeon R9 270x 2gb 16gb ram :)
Why would you download the demo when the Mantle drivers aren't even released yet even in beta?? Seems silly to have the download as an option if there aren't drivers to support it yet?
I was inconvenienced. Okay I'd just thought I'd jump into the pot... :P I won't through speed rate at anyone as that was already pointed out many times of how it works. Here is what is available for most area's with different carriers in US. Google Fiber 1 Gbps $70/mnth KC and Austin Area Only (High Quality Ultra HD/HD streaming, Multiple Gaming, Many users in home) Cable Top 100 Mbps $90/mnth Select areas depending on provider (High Qual
Best guess was right before the Alpha was released but, then again they could use the Alpha release to encourage the Founder's Elite package so may be available until Beta or after. My guess is Stardock has an idea of when they are going to cut it off but it's still flexible in there mind. My guess would be whatever gives them the best finacial edge.:) Based on all the information present this is what I would do if I was making those decissions...
March, it's up to bees, then.
Not where I am, In WI bees are rarely buzzing around in March, usually takes until late April/May for bees to be a buzzing around :) But usually the snow is starting to melt in March, which means warmer weather is a coming and start getting some days up near 50 or higher on occasion unlike currently we've been lucky to get into the mid 20's :(, which is colder than normal. &nbs
