OK I'm going to look at the command screen next time I play. You see this is why I suck at this game and have to play on beginner. [e digicons][/e]
Everyone starts somewhere. I rarely played GC2 on any difficulty but beginner and save scummed like a mofo. I'm mostly playing on genius right now. Godlike requires more time then I can invest with my work schedule and the fact we are only a few day

You have a single global option but I'm guessing you mean to setup templates to switch to. I would love this as well.
Honestly, sensor ships don't give enough information to break the game. You actually get far more information about what an AI has on the Diplo screen then you will ever get from a sensor ship. Also, avoid classifying sensor ships as mark of a good or crap player. I know a lot of people won't be able to make them because their systems performance will tank because of all the extra polygons and rendering. A good player is not going to need sensor ships to determine where the enem
Maybe it was cds was it on lots of them?
Think there is two.
Immense Galaxy is designed for 128 players. I feel Huge is good for 8 players. Tiny 3 There are other factors # planets and quality
I still have the CD and manual for it.
I think this is normal (currently) on tough (genius ai) they get a pretty hefty bonus and early on they dont have anything to spend it on (well I could spend it). Once the colonization phase is over you should see them starting to spend that reserve. It may take in account how many threats are near them. After the stream last night the YOR was off in the middle of nowhere so they might have been pooling their money because they were safe. I also don't know all the thin
I will work on this tonight. I had some trouble last time getting moo3 to run but the images might just be in the folder.
I'm personally started setting these hard limitations on my games. Max number of components by type - 2 sensors (only scouts get 2 everyone else can have 1) - 2 engine (0-2 based on role) - 2 logistics (if I need more range I have to build starbases) It forces me to pay more attention to how I design my ships. I do feel mega sensor ships are too powerful if multiplayer is going to be a thing but since most people playing this are GC2 players (
I'm new to streaming so my Youtube channel is needs a little work. I would like to do two more streams before release but we'll see. Tuesday and Wednesday are WoW raid nights although we are just doing Normal Blackrock Foundary runs so I might be able to step out. The heroic runs I have to be on hand since I'm one of the better geared healers/dps of our raid group.
twitch.tv/Illauna - I lost the video from yesterday I didn't realize my archive setting was changed to not auto archive I did some how to plays - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EGBtzjeQ2-0&list=PLQ6cMI_FhPVWWNtKaP_HNeKf8Uaqq-Pj5 I was not feeling well when I made those so some of my choices are "questionable" near the 4th video. Seriously don't straight out b
Yes I use the command screen alot. If you talk out loud what you are doing it will make sense. For zingo77's first screen shot read it like "Shipyards" "Building" "Intruder M9's" should build "Dagger M4". Or shipyards building Intruder M9's should build Dagger M4's.
Last weekend they didn't do much but make a big money pile to swim around in. In my stream last night they were the second largest military in the game.
I have a visual of Brad distracting Sid Meier while Derek shoves a Firaxis employee in a box to work for Stardock.
[Insert Steam folder location here]\SteamApps\common\Galactic Civilizations III\Music You can make your own soundtrack from whats in here.
Yep everyone asks for this. The Colony is almost always is a bad position.
The invasion battle viewer was put on hold for now. The whole invasion mechanic changed as of Beta 6 because it was causing some trouble. They announced they will add it after release.
I donno it might be better to add a mod section to the wiki instead. You can create whichever wiki pages you want and I think a good mod section would be great.
The free version of XSplit Broadcaster or OBS. What have people used and what do they like better. I'm considering making the switch to XSplit Broadcater (will not use Gamecaster ever again *shakes fist at BRB everytime I alt tabbed to type in chat and lack of a mouse cursor onscreen*)
Yep and you really shouldn't get the reward until after the pirates.
I'm guessing because SC2 had a flat version of the Galaxy map. Which is why ALpha Centauri was so far away when it's actually our closest star. I'm hoping for a 3d map...just not a 3d spinning map ala SC3
PS: there is a very small black tube piece in the Terran set, that I recommend, at 10 scale, it is invisible under nearly all circumstances.
Awww, now that explains why the tiny ships in the base designs have those little boxes. They are set to hidden (a button on the palette).
I'm not either. Have you tried playing around with the screen resolutions? Nvidia did an update a while back that made some older monitors able to support 4k resolutions and I'm playing at 2715x1527. Because of this my hotspot is a little fat on the sides.
I've seen the thumbnail issue even when upgrading designs. Sometimes when just adding engines the game will take a different viewing angle for the thumbnail. I hope we are given options for this like in Fallen Enchantress. I would like to select a preset (or better yet given control) of the thumbnail creation.
LMAO, that's the same pic I'm using. I have no idea how to post pics. Anyone have any ideas? I could give you my email if you wouldn't mind sending me them as attachments. I only have 4 or 5 MOO races....I need the rest!!! LOL.
MOO, MOO2, MOO3 which one do you need pics from. I have all of them.
