OLD Stardock (pre-War of Magic) would have the alpha right now. But no, we are waiting until it's a bit further along. I don't want to make any promises but I would expect early 2014.
That's ok. [e digicons][/e] So I have these credits and some techs. Would you trade some for some screenshots, mini AARs of testing sessions, Let's Suffer</spa
Quoting Wintersong, reply 236Abstraction is such a nice thing in gaming! Well said. But please remember that we individually are quite different people with differing wants and needs. As I said earlier, I am a control freak (perhaps I should have qualified that with "in certain ways"). The use of toggles to allow players a choice between "control" and "abstraction" was used well by GC2 for fleet battles, and in both prev

I do plan to switch to Windows 7 64 bits soon but unless they suddenly release the alpha, I think I can wait some days/weeks. Well, "Verga" should be doable. *looks at Elemental* Maybe "Tuano" can make the trick too. We only have to satisfy english speaking sensibilities, right? [e digicons];P[/e] For the record, mine (star name) is no joke of any kind.

Just make it playable with the 4GB RAM and my GeForce 8500GT (I know, getting quite old but not fixable any time soon) and I'll be happy. Windows 7 64-bits will fall in place soon (not risking that thing called Windows 8 just in case) and multiple cores are already in. No way I'm adding a second monitor. No space!

Space is huge. If you don't deploy sensor ships or some kind of planetary mumbo jumbo building, I don't see why you should have a full constant vision. The Hubble cannot see everything everytime. In GalCivII, the only way to care about sensors for me, is that it's the way to protect better my "territory" (cargo ships with good engines, some range and the rest sensors for massive visual range). On invading others they (sensors) can be nice too (for transports without scorts) but wh

Added some links for "See by yourself" (still missing some), tried to find a more nice presentation format (still not happy with its readability), added some new information stuff (still missing some but not in a hurry) and more [e digicons]:dur:[/e] because I can.

As long as minimum system requirements don't go crazy "because 64-bits", sounds good. So... cross platform?

Will the designer work like that in GalCivII in which you could access other civilizations' pieces? If that is the case, would be possible (as an option if needed) to have access to other civilizations' hull models too? I suppose that you will allow us to create our own custom civilizations (correct me if I'm wrong) and I always missed to be able to mix hulls (not needing mods for that would be sweet). Cannot wait to see more about the other civilizations and their styles.
