Nice to know that some many games out there (that I haven't played [e digicons]XD[/e] ) do have characters too. I understand that Rebellion means Sins of a Solar Empire? 64-bits and all, I was thinking that the number of those heroes could be different depending on the size of the map. Five heroes, for example, could be enough for a normal map but for a super duper 64-bit huge-to-infinity map, that number would be too low. The poor from where you can recruit (A

To upgrade edition, maybe it involves some kind of cancellation/refund of the basic preorder and paying for the Elite option later. But in any case, mailing sales about it as Weidbrewer said is the best thing to do first. :)
My two bases are economy and research, with military to scare other civs. I like to trade techs for other techs, money and then planets. Technological Conquest of planets ftw!!!

Is that really important to make a difference between founder types? I personally don't fancy the idea of founder badges despite having some (or titles) for different games, Isn't enough the visual artificial rift between those who have given money (blindly) for the preorder and those that (for different reasons) have not?
Because why not? First must read: https://www.galciv3.com/game/faq https://www.galciv3.com/game/gameplay Then, more in the line of "Forum and interwebs gathering" and because "Too busy/cool to click/read F.A.Q. link"... What is Galactic Civilizations? One of the best civilizations

Strange that these days no one has yet said something about a Kickstarter for a GoG (non Steam) version. Seems quite the popular idea. You "only" need to pay for an achievements system that doesn't need Steamworks because apparently achievements are cool (in addition to some control/check features), multiplayer that doesn't use Steamworks and... what else? All the social mumbo jumbo? Altough you could require the player to have a Steam account (and the service) to use those fe
GalCiv is based on a tech trading (stargate thingy) and I like trading with the AI. You can have a button to disable tech brokering but I want tech trade in. They need to tweak the system more and better but any system can be exploited by human players anyway.
After some time thinking about it, I don't know if yay or nay to tactical combat. From a resources point of view? Not having tactical combat means more resources for he strategy layer,. But if you could guarantee me a strategy layer like Twilight (of the Arnor) with some improvements and optional tactical combat in space and planet assaults... well, it'd be difficult not to consider it.
Having released Fallen Enchantress and Legendary Heroes, are we still to suppose that they haven't learnt their Elemental lesson? Nothing wrong with being cautious, mind you, but Elemental is in the distant past.

But the AIs had an aligment from the get go, I think. Drengin presented themselves as Evil. Also liked to attack Torians above other species. Nice AI personalities going on.
After seeing the video, I have the (maybe wrong) idea that we are getting carriers and spacefighters (and more) in game. I'd like to think that after working with Ironclad, they got some nice ideas about stuff for our GalCiv III fleets. In GalCiv II i'd build smaller fighters to go along capital ships for easy extra power and laser fodder. But they weren't really needed so anything that improves it, like the dieas of the OP, is good to me.
The events were nice but the options/consequences could be improved. More than just % bonuses. Otehrwise, I liked them. I don't think that there should be techs unlocked based on aligment at all. Except maybe some buildings. I'd prefer that you unlock all the stuff researching but that some of that stuff have an impact in how you are view by everybody... if you actually use it. Some techs would be tagged as "evil" and others as "good", the rest (most of them) being "neutral".
