Had similar problem in v1.11 where the turn button never appeared. Saved, reloaded, same thing. Went into diplo screen and alliance'd everyone. Then turn button appeared, was clickable, but performed no action. Will send save game. ALSO NOTICED: My ships have zero range. Launch from a planet and it can't even go back to the planet because they'll have to go dark, yadda yadda yadda, minimal power, blah.
Nobody likes a spelling snob jmccor n ! Isn't it a bit embarrassing to label someone a spelling snob when you end up mispelling their name?
Bumpity bump because this sounds major.
I'm sorry, but if it doesn't have Belanna, and it doesn't have Paris, then it doesn't have me.
The BUG here is that, as an example with the Yor and 100% loyality, either... The player is not allowed to stack, but instead, wipe out their bonus. A Yor player can pay 1 customization point in order to go from a 100% loyality bonus to a 10% "mostly faithful" loyalty bonus. (Or altogether wipe out the bonus by, then, deselecting "mostly faithful".) Acknowledged that they can undo the damage by hitting reset. Either a player should not be allowed to pay to customize an attr
For "the loosers " - LOL
#9: The "hint" boxes the appear while the universe is being generated. In v1.11, perhaps the formatting has changed, but some of the texts are too long to fit inside of the box. Like the one about planetary unhappiness with the skull and crossbones, as an example. The last line(s) get get off of this and at least one other. EDIT: Okay. Here's a screenshot.
If only I could invest my money in something that appreciates! Hey, how about this cool new candy made out of the blood of my citizens? Wow. Haven't seen that since 1.0ish. Some of the wild randoms really have been turned down I guess?
For the record, in the problem I was presenting, I had no focused colonies.
Related to #4: On rare occassions, when I'd have a single constructor parked next to a starbase, when I'd move it onto that starbase, I'd get *two* starbase upgrades. #8: After I have finished my research on the Neutrality Center, and the research screen comes up for me to select the next tech (in split-screen mode), the tech will be correct on the left, but the map will be focused way out in never-never land. Can sometimes happen elsewhere on the tech trees (usually when you just fin
Kind of hard to find the exact situation when this happens. It doesn't always happen. I just managed to do the reverse... I went from a 33% 33% 34% mix to a 100% 0% 0% mix. It told me I was going to be massively negative BC (what, like 500bc a turn or 5000, I forget now). Ths is late in my empire. I only have one planet doing a social project right now, and that is an industrial sector. I've got enough money, so I can easily swallow whatever the financial drain. So I hit t
Twice now, I'm taken my empire from the following situation: 33% military 33% production 33% research net income: a few bc to... 0% military 50% production 50% research net income: hundreds of BCs so I turn my industrial capacity slider all the way up to 100%... net income: less, but still hundreds of BCs but... The next turn, all of the sudden, I'm losing money hand over fist. So I go back to the econ
I want more surprises. Vengence? Oh! I know how to handle this one. Ultimate power? Yup, know that too. But a Space Dragon (MOO2, forgive) that is rapidly approaching my planet with one of several different possible goals? I'd love the terror of having to plan for the unknown but certain unfortunate event.
This is unclear/vague. [ X ] Show Social Events Only if Empty Queue If I uncheck this, am I saying.... 1] Show Social Events, empty queue or not 2] Do not show Social Events if there is an empty queue ... the wording makes it clear what a checked box does, but unclear what an unchecked box does.
It is frustrating when I have three or four survey ships out, but two of them (or more) decide the follow the same path, one right after the other. (And to do it from location to location from that point forward.)
YES, FINALLY! No more fighting to get my neutrality learning centers built! Only potential comment (unsure if reproducable): It seems that when I discover a tech and automatically go to the tech selection split-screen, it is focused on the wrong section of the tech map. Again, don't know if this is reproducable or if others are having this issue. WISH: This could be my stupidity. I wonder if there is a way to prioritize manufacturing type improvements ahead of all
I saw pirates in a v1.1. Darn, they were little tough guys. Too bad they invested all their effort into beam weapons.
I can't wait to see it. I had some extremely minor complaints about the intro: 1: "Dread Lords" sounded like "Dreadnors" or something unintelligable if you didn't know what they were saying. 2. "The stargate." [no pause] "The stargate..." They needed to pause a beat in there. Again, MINOR complaints. Can't wait to see this new one.
> Neutrality Learning Centers will automatically take over (upgrade from) Research Academies This alone makes the upgrade worth it by saving 15 minutes of my time per game.
Maybe I'm playing the game wrong. By the time I get around to building this thing, it is long since obsolete since there are little or no anomalies left to explore. And, FWIW, it is more the size of the module that I find important, and not the cost. EDIT: I've never seen the AI go for the Galactic Guidebook, and if you think about it, at zero cost modules, how many ships with survey modules would you have to build in order to recoup the costs?
I originally got my copy based on Starforce's recommenation of a torrent. So I'd have to say, yes, the lack of copy protection got my hooked. The registration mechanisms and hooks into the game reeled me in. That, and coupled with the repution I read about Stardock supporting and enhancing their games very well. I'm pleased to support this product.
Starbuck called. (S)he wants their ships back. [very nice]
Fun game because my dated and outclassed ships can tear stuff up in a megafleet.
Wow. On my single vengence game, they did both independent AND fleet activities with the little buggers. They get dangerous in packs.
