Mostly focus on colony building as admiralWIllyWiber pointed out Also diplomacy as been noted all over the place with the ai making silly trades. Especially military ships/tech. Stop declaring war when we can't reach each other, etc. A side note, fix scoring. The ai seems to think colony ships, constructors and freighters count as military. It seems to make the ai think it is more powerful than it really is. That ought to keep you busy :p &nb

I got a list, where do we start?! [e digicons];P[/e] So where can we see these streams? What happened to Beta optin 5.2? Where is my overlord patch for just being me? (ok, that one was over the top, but if you want to give me one....)

I really don't like spamming constructors. Wouldn't reality be more like any construction project? Materials and equipment are shipped in as needed to build things. Much like the planetary buildings. Now if you did something like freighters (or equivalent) ship materials to the starbase and the constructor that was used to start it STAYS at the starbase. I mean, when they build a building the excavators and cranes don't become the building. Then the construction progresses

I am not that worried about AI. Hell, they update FELH for years. However, the AI didn't ever seem to learn to manage resources very well. It seems all AI where you can level up heroes/leaders and units do a poor job of keeping them alive. If it needs a certain resource, it seems to do even worse. I am not just saying Stardock, I am saying anyone. Hell Total War STILL sends cavalry charging into spears in a shield wall. Probably why the generals no longer are on horse. Anyon

Well, considering you were probably drunk to fall off said boat... lucky the churning of the water helps to make it easier to penetrate, unlike a flat surface. Just don't go near the props, bad, bad things will happen then.

I don't feel like this is the place for a debate, so I will back away quietly. Happy Easter/Passover to those that celebrate them.

As long as I can do things while it is the other persons turn, I am fine. Total War MP sucks because I can't do ANYTHING but look around while waiting. Why can't I queue up builds, set my family members to positions or give them assignments? Why can't I do my building and recruitment while I wait? Drives me nuts.

I feel they are a bit ham handed at the moment. There are benefits in each tree that are appealing. It should take a scale of how many in each tree I have instead of I have 3 benevolent and 4 pragmatic, ergo I am pragmatic. ??? I also don't like benevolent and pragmatic relations is the same as benevolent and malevolent relations. It should be bonus for the same, nothing for pragmatic and perhaps a penalty to all factions for evil. I mean, even China doesn't like North Korea that much

Nice boat! I have rented a couple, it was alright. The lakes around here and getting more and more crowded. They are starting make rules like highways now. 1) Don't go over X mph here 2) No stopping there 3) No running over people in your path. I mean, what is the point anymore! [e digicons];P[/e]

I have a FitBit. It is ok. The web based diet, weight and activity tracker come with it and are free. That is the real benefit.

Never understood getting nailed to a cross was a "Good Friday", but if it makes you happy, have a good weekend. I will drink to all religions, no religions, well, I just drink. Wait, that is every weekend, so I guess it isn't a holiday unless I don't drink and my liver will thank me at some point. Anyway, happy weekend to everyone.

Well, similarly, I don't like that there is a zone I supposedly can't get through, but because I have a planet or starbase and there is a swath of area I can't go to, I can get there anyway leaping over that zone. That is like saying I am driving from NY to LA, I don't have enough gas to get to Chicago, but I have a base in St, Louis, so all good. What?
Just adding some of my 2 cents to this post, In one of my earlier games and I must admit I'm not sure if this has been addressed yet or not (but from reading this post it doesn't seem to be). I was (and still am) getting use to the game and fell behind the AI so out of nowhere the Evil Drengin Empire declared war on me and I put up a long dragged out fight but in the end I was loosing so I decided

I haven't played in a while, so I figured I would give it a go this weekend. I always play with everything on occasional. Before it would sometimes mean there wasn't squat to settle around you. So I choose huge map and all factions (all gifted) plus minors. Well, imagine my surprise when almost every star had a habitable planet, some two and most were about size 10! ????? Even if they didn't have a habitable planet, they were of the kind that could be habitable wit

A lot of sound observations, but I believe either Brad in the forums or Paul in the dev stream said they just now got the ai hooked up to all the features. IIRC Paul said the version he was using that will probably be opt-in in a week or two was already much better. Until all the features are hooked up, there isn't much point to working on ai priorities. Turning off tech brokering helps as you can only trade what you researched. However, that means whoever is leading in tech
The diplo windows showing you everything the enemy has is a real problem itself, it's terrible that you can keep track on exactly what your opponent has got. How in the heck would I know the Iconian's entire fleet when they are past where any of my shi
- Also add a preview of movement range on selected ship (on your turn for you ships, on next turn for opponent ships, since they have 0 moves left when you play). It's a pain to count how far 6 or 9 or x tiles (or hexes in 3) are, to evade, prepare, etc. EDIT : or even better : in green for this turn (moves lefts) and in red for next turn (moves left+max moves). Colors/gfx are example [e digicons]:D[
