Well all Civ games don`t have anything like the customisability of GalCiv 3. Also the recent Civ games especially Civ6 suffer from rampant sjw/feminist political correctness which is beginning to destroy good games; GalCiv 3 is beginning to suffer a bit from that too. Hopefully they can steer away from that. Again a lot of this is alleviated by the the sheer customisation options of GalCiv3. All Civ 5 and 6 have going for it is it`s based on reality (familiar history) whic
I would just like to pre-thank the wonderful person or persons who is going to make a Babylon 5 mod - it will be AMAZE-BALLZ!!!! We are making better worlds. All of them, better worlds....
You do know that with Crusade and the DLCs it`s actually quite easy now to make a babylon5 mod yourself? It would only take time and referring to the series for accuracy. I haven`t made one,

I am one of those Users who tends to play to what I want rather than what is necessarily numerically "best", however, I do tend to rush out Colony ships and I alwasy, always go for the 3 free Constructer ships. After that it depends on how things go.
PLANETS: Science fiction is about worlds. Worlds are some of the most important characters in sci fi, and I think the worlds in the game should be as diverse as they are in science fiction while also reflecting current scientific thought. Because of the abundance of so-called Super Earths (which have, on average, higher surface gravities), much of this has centered around gravity levels.
As a complete noob I`m curious

Well what attracts me to GC3 over other similar games is... 1. Faction customisation. 2. Ship customisation. 3.Randomised game options including Random. 4.Good AI. 5. Galaxy strategy. The first 4 are key. You are truly allowed to create your world\universe. Other games I am atrracted too (endless space) but they fail on the customisation while pretending they give you those options. I`d like more control over ship

I was going to make a post on this. Yes, you`re right, there are a lot of spelling and grammatical errors, but I just went in the files and corrected them. People these days aren`t interested in English accuracy and will call you a grammar-nazi or some such. Now one could say it`s how the Universal translater is interpreting the alien languages, but that doesn`t count for the spelling errors. Then again perhaps English isn`t the Dev`s native language? It`s a goo
I made a few changes to my citizen's names file and started a new game. I've got 5 citizens by turn 33 with one duplicate name (female), despite having 19 different female first names and 17 different last names. So it seems that the game is not doing as much as it can to choose unique names. I tried playing around with the tag, but having more than one of those within the <FlavorTextOption&
I don't want to spoil the fun and principally I agree with the suggestions, but be advised that some of the DLCs are not fully adjusted to Crusade, e. g. there are mercenary ships that do not work correctly under crusade like those that give influence bonuses (experienced myself) or can construct starbases with several free modules (heard from others). But I assume these bugs will be squashed eventually.
&nb

The Merc pack is a good 1st choice. Lost treasures if you want a few extra insteresting stuff and ideology events is 2nd. I got the Builder`s Kit (it includes actual letters and numbers, every useful) cos I like as much customisation as possible and finally the Mega Events cos I like interesting random events. But the Merc pack is a good 1st start.

I also find the UI words a little small even on large and feel like I have to bring the monitor closer. I have 28inch monitor, not 4K. Bigger wordage would be nicer. Usually a black screens means your graphics card cannot manage that resolution or you`ve set a mode on your Graphic card settings that your monitor cannot support. Check them first.
Just finished a game on Normal difficulty and encountered some AI issues: (1). The AI was extremely passive with its fleets. It made no attempt to either intercept my invasion fleets or invade my planets, instead dividing its ships among its planets where my combined fleets could crush them individually. Funny thing happened: I made a sexy female leaders race that had no problem with men and a feminazi race. After a while the sexy female race contacted me, saying that the Feminazis had destroyed them and they were giving their remaining assets to me. It kinda made sense that the feminazis would go straight for the sexy female race first! Funny how that kinda worked.
