What version? 1.3 opt-in? Follow the steps here: https://forums.galciv3.com/452855/page/1/ and submit a save game and screenshot to Stardock. I've never seen this myself, can't really help you.
Saw this in the news. Personally I use LibreOffice. Its open source and a freebie plus it does everything MS's office does. Been using it a long time.
It also will only use your ships if it sees them as better than its own. Not sure how it decides that, but I see it using my sensor ships all the time.
beating the crap out of its pityfull fleets should give it a hint ;)
"one of the investments we made with the GalCiv III engine is the campaign system. It was expensive to do for us but it allows us to introduce players to lots of new alien civilizations with their own engaging stories. " Who cares about story campaigns? Nobody plays them anyway. People just play sandbox.
I really thought I did... Now, I can't find it, so my guess is I tried to submit it last week-end and it failed, and I forgot to redo it. Well, I wil send the data next time I play. As for recording a video, one would need to record the entire game to isolate it.
ah, that's got to be it :) Thank you :)
Is it only for the last difficulty level? And how does it work exactly, does the AI use the ships I previously designed in another game, the ones I design in the current game, both? (assuming it has the tech&resources, of course). And btw, what are the bonuses the AI has above Genius? It's a bit boring to play at genius because the AI never invades, but Godlike is too difficult for me. By the time I have finished the colonization rush the Alterians
I wonder what DX12 means for a game like Galciv3. I tend to associate DX12 with better graphics, but it may just be me, I don't really know. Would using DX12 means having more processing power available for a better AI because it spends less time rendering graphics and the CPU is more available for other tasks?
Meantime, until there is a way to sway tourism either to this planet or that one, tourism buildings it seems are all but worthless, and likewise the tourism tech branch [e digicons]:puke:[/e]
they boost the income share of one planet, no? and they provide a nice bonus to economy buildings.
If it's anything like me, it will be impossible to submit a screenshot. The first(s) window(s) disapear almost instantly, only the last remain active.
I think it's tied to your influence. You receive a fixed amount per hex you control, I think...
That is missing from the game. A list, like your colony list, whe you could see all the planets discovered so far, listing those uncolonized and those colonized by another player (indicating the faction it belongs to), would be a really nice feature to have.
Look through the Steam Workshop, just type "Borg" in the search field, you'll get the races and the ships :)
Use the following instructions at the buttom, Support tool: https://esupport.stardock.com/index.php?/default_import/Knowledgebase/Article/View/496/161/general-galactic-civilizations-iii-troubleshooting Use the tool to generate a debug log when it happens. Submit said debug report to Stardock along with your last autosave prior to the bug + debug.err + prefs.ini. Maybe they'll be able to trigger something, we never know.

I thought the AI was using human-made ships on higher difficulties? btw, I've reported that behaviour since 1.2 in ticket #CKJ-934-82211. But you should add your own too, the more games they have, the easier it will be to fix the problem, I suppose.
I've had bad experiences with some logitech keyboard in the past, but the last one I got was pretty good. I'll check it out, thanks.
Some more saves in ticket #CKJ-934-82211 about the idle transports and the idle fleets that gather around my shipyards/planets and don't seek the ennemy to engage them.
Hello, I was wondering if fellow gamers could help me in this department. I have used the MS Natural Wireless Ergonomic keyboard & mouse combo for years and absolutely love it, best keyboard I ever had. Now, I tried replacing it with the newest ergonomic keyboard from MS, but it's not to my taste at all. The mouse, I can live with, but the keyboard...
Quoting , quoting post I think that by the end of 1.4 the complains about GalCiv III's AI should be largely put to rest for most people. We shall see. The opt-in for it should be available in a few weeks. I argue that some people will only stop
Also, I don't want to sound too negative, I really like the game and I appreciate the effort of Stardock to fix it and make it better :) But you guys really need to start testing it on larger maps. Or give us more tools to help you.
I have been at war with the Yor for 500 turns. Zero invasion from them. They attack me where they can, when I goad other AI to attack them, some of there ships will attack them, the Yor will attack their starbases, but there's zero transports around and lots of ships remain parked around my shipyards and starbases instead of regrouping and fighting the Yor.
Combined with the 1.31 AI update (the AI should be very noticeably better in 1.31 versus 1.3)
the AI does not attack, its ships are standing right next to mine instead of seeking its ennemies and it does not invade on larger maps, the map only moves via influence, not conquest. I will have another bunch of save game posted on your support system by the end of the day. Basically, the AI is not much better at this than it wa
