I downloaded vip_build, size more than 400mb. Is this crusade beta ? Game crashes right away, so I don't know what is it.
the vip build was prior to 2.0
And none of us remembered that in GCII you could favorite a part. That would be so useful for making ship sets!
but that only lasted for that game, persistent would have been better.
In GC2 if you added a part, later you decided to add more like it. You could select the part on the ship then reselect it in the list and it would keep the settings that you used before. This was really useful for adding the part to new sections of your ship.
Omnibus is so discouraged that he posted this to me with the ok to share it. Please please listen to us. Omnibus: Havent put it on and doubt I will for some time yet. Might have al look at their new crusade or whatever it is. But unless they have fixed or done something to the Ship limit and even added a delete in the exported (created) Parts then they can go to buggery. I have asked and asked, seems like they have just thrown it in the too hard or cant be stuffed basket. Then come ou
missing from GC2, you made great improvements to the designer but have left out some of the basic features that were important. the quick orientation views Ambient lighting slider color selection top down view quick toggle for hard point display auto rotating view next time I'm in it I'm sure I'll find more
It's been a long time since I posted a ship here, so here is my latest project.
Thanks TheBirthdayParty I wanted to make it special being number 100.
I present my 100th fighter. Decided it needed to be different.
ED will tell you to not play the game any when doing this so you don`t have any extra mass reduction or minieraztion or shrinkage added to them just unlock and build away!!!!! later if you want to test the ships by all means play the unlock game after you have build or creation!!!!
You don't have to play the game to test your ship. In the console
Haven't posted in a while, this is a GC3afication of one my GC2 battleship.
They will show in the designer but not the shipyard. You can edit the ship and make it legit with your current tech. With bonuses it is possible to design ships that you might not ever see again until you hit that ultimate bonus. It's a safety feature because there is no designer on the main menu.
J5S look at the library for gc2, there were lots of logo packs
You could take huge hulls off the tech tree so they can't be built. Then design some planet projects that grant you one huge hull ship.
The up meeting is from the game but I had to cheat to get it. By the time I'd get around to meeting civs on an insane some would already be extinct. I used the console for fow and upmeeting commands. All the races are in my game, most are missing flavor text for now.
Chris and I are forming Nasty Doc's Custom Civ, we expect to start good after steam workshop is added.
I'm guilty, karma and 666 just don't seem right.
Another thing with this is, not just your request. It seems everyone wants an option added. Heck even I want more color options. My biggest issue is that is not what should be on the devs plate. There way too many areas that need dev attention. This would not be a simple thing to implement.
there is an easy way to see the right orientation of the ship. Any part you pick prior to adding it to the ship will aim forward.
Save games include everything, so you can delete a ship in a future game but it will still be in that old save.
My newest beast, for going against late Drengin Avatars.
I feel like a junkie who just had his fix when I look at this thread, ahhhh ships, more ships, good ships
did you use exported parts? If you did and they try to edit the ship without the export files it will cause a ctd.
I confess to a 1 turn MP win. I had tried the other night to play with my nephew. We tried 5 times and it would ctd us. I read about custom ships causing the issue. We wanted to test it quickly and I just forgot to add the AI civs.
My latest turret
they should be disabled in the shipyard (greyed out) and only access them in the designer. If not it is a bug.
