It's been a long time since I last posted here. So...*looks at you awkwardly*...what's up these days? Oh...I'm fine...you? How's the wife and kids? Fantastic...good to hear it... So anway...I have this project...a windowblind to be exact...that i've been tinkering with for the past year or so but neither have the patience or the drive to finish it. But maybe you would? If anyone is interested let me know and I'll toss the you files. email me here <A href="mailto:[email protected]

windowblinds works great except for the fact that the blur effect from areo surrounds open windows...and it's the same for all skins. i'm running RC1...anyone have any thoughts?

remember this: having internet at work is a privaledge, not a right. your employer is responsible for providing the tools nessesary to do your job. if the net is a tool that you need, they can very well restrict access to anything other than what you require. you don't require access to your personal email or need the ability to monitor your fantasy football team to do your job. unless fantasy football and email IS your job. internet at work is a tool, not a toy. written polici
this sort of thing CAN'T happen here. i've admired wincustomize for NOT allowing this sort of thing. if more skin submissions is what you want, this is not the way to go about it. by allowing this, wincustomize will quite simply alienate it's established artists. allowing these skins fosters the idea that it is okay to steal/mod someone else's work and post it as your own. if wincustomize is going to sell-out like DA has, i may as well cancell my subscription now. the double standard by
seriously, why not bolt a lexus grille on a toyota and tell your friends it's a lexus. vista clone = poser
DA's policy against rips is almost non-existant. their windowblinds gallery is absolute garbage these days. it really falls into the lap of the skins and themes gallery director...who you'd think would be paying much closer attention with all of these vista rips. absolutely nothing will happen untill you hit the "submit deviation as policy violation" link...even then it's a crap shoot. what's even funnier is how the "rip users" (i won't call them artists) defend themselves after being called out
it's like that here in wisconsin too - right now it's 103 degrees - heat index says 109
agreed bmaker...subject is droped...peace indeed.
"There is one thing that I had to get off my chest... even though what I said was wrong, that still is no excuse for what Skinhit and Zubaz said. Not liking and commenting about a post is one thing, but threatening to kill someone because of it is another. I was extremely offended by what those two idiots had to say, that's why I reacted the way I did. No offence to anyone else on this board." funny...my niece is 6 years old...when she gets
time to get over yourself kid... less time talking...more time creating if you've that much better
freaking worthless hacks that can't even float 20 bucks for software. dude probably spends more on porn and starbucks before noon. these damn retards never cease to amaze me. steal something then ask for help when it doesn't work. seriously...why don't you go steal a car then call the dealer and ask how to shut the alarm off...moron... were you born this stupid or did you have to work on it?
kids...
I agree with the person that made this thread... I have been wondering where all the great skins are. Ever since I started paying Wincustomize, I have seen nothing but garbage on here! Then only response idiot people have is "why don't you make your own skins then" or "why don't you do better". For one thing, I have no time to waste on that. Also, I am paying to use this a
ramesese- as a user, i can understand your frustration. you paid for the software, you paid for the subscription...now you want content. over a period of time when you don't find content that you deem "fit" you start to get anxious. understandable. as an artist, keep in mind that there is no "school" for skinning. yes, there are tutorials, but those only teach mechanics, not creativity and skill. the great skins you speak of don't just fall off trees. they are generally th
Wait so when the program is gone the skin won't work anymore!? ummm...hence the word "trial" when you test drive a car, you don't get to keep it for free when the test drive is over. you either buy it or you don't. the software is worth every penny of the 20 dollars. 20 dollars for years of enjoyment with this software....
P.S I am being salty
why do people always ask this question? what part of "trial" is so hard to understand? of course it'll stop working...hence the word trial. what did you think it would do? think of it like this: if you take a new car out for a test drive, you don't get to keep the car for free when the test drive is over. you either buy it or you don't. and no the pop-up window can't be disabled...think of that as the software's dealer plate.
not to mention they used "detect" wrong. should have been "detected" anytime you get something like this with spelling and grammatical errors...it's a scam.
it's cool, i'm simply going to "tag" everything this kid uploads anywhere he uploads it. i've already "spread the love" over at deviantart.
seriously kid, at age 13 you should know what theft is. and you should know what consequences come with it. i don't know if you think that everyone here is completely stupid or if you're just that dumb yourself...whichever it may be, you need to go play outside or watch some pokemon or something. and just so there's no confussion in the future, i've taken it apon myself to tag your deviantart page with a little message for anyone who may vi
*sigh* trial versions don't last forever. your trial has ended, time to purchase it.
in order to use this program properly, you must have the most current and up-to-date version of the flux capacitor. without the most current version, you run the risk of the time circuits corrupting...a repair that requires 1.21 gigawatts of electricity.
what's i was saying is that if you take the exact image that you lifted off a website and recolor it, the image you started with is not yours...that's not fan art. fan art is done from a blank canvas which ALL of the work is done by yourself. think of it like this: imagine a ford focus. if you buy the focus and repaint it and add new wheels, you didn't build the car, you enhanced it...therefore you cannot slap your own name and logo on it an
many of the skins you see here that incorporate images from games, film...etc... fall under the "fan art" portion of the copyright law. the artist is not selling his/her work, only sharing it with the community. as long as you are not using an image created by someone else you should be okay. you can't go to the green bay packer's web site, copy the image and paste it into your skin, for example. no matter how much you modify it, the base image is stil
