Sorry yes I ment through widgets. I thought they leveraged the IE settings too but doesnt seem to be true in my case. I tried making OD objects but they didnt work either behind a proxy. Are there any sample code to show this coding? My own attempts for whatever reason do not seem to work. Kind of wished I hadnt trashed the objects...

I was wondering if anyone has any experience scripting and using proxies. I have to run behind a firewall and I get through to the internet via a proxy. Just a thought, copy them to the user folder (\documents and settings\user\applicationdata\galciv\etc...), rename them and mod them there. do it by hand... might work. as I said its just a thought and I havent tried it yet.

Well... there will need to be a patch for the patch.. inherent with software.. During gameplay this morning all the frames suddenly vanished and just test was left on screen. I ended up having to go to task manager to kill the application and then reboot just to make sure I had a clean system to try again.

This is a future RIAA doesnt want to happen. Much like cable tv companies wont allow you to pick the channels you want, you have to buy the package, the whole package. I remember a friend was a little irrate over something like this and went to a website dogdoo.com or something like it. There he had a package of sterile dog poo shipped in a nice package to the offending lawyer. Since it was hermatically sealed and was not a toxin and etc... it was perfectly legal. The receiving lawyer however didnt think it was funny but there was nothing he could do about it. Crude but it got the point across. People

Ok I am very intrigued about how the user interface was created using DesktopX. What part of the UI and is there a chance there could be a write up on it? As a developer I would love to experiment more, sort of need a direction. Game screenshots look terrific!!

I havent seen a popup either... however i wonder if you run some sort of cleaner like ad-aware or antiviral sweep on your system. Do you have the messenger service turned off? You could always wipe and reload your system. Check the site using another PC.. etc.

Wincustomize Tray anomaly in WinCustomize Talk WinCustomize Forums

Loading skins from the WinCustomize tray app caused explorer to crash (XP Pro OS). Not sure if this is a skin issue or the tray app. It started when WB5.0 beta came out and has become more frequent since then. Its getting to the point where I cant reliably use the Wincustomize Tray application anymore.
