I do VC++ development with a DX desktop loaded all of the time now, and I wouldn't want to do without it. I wouldnt mind seeing your desktop to get an idea. I do VC++(among other languages) and I havent found a DX desktop arrangement I could use. <img src="http://images.stardock.com/wc/s

While I have WB and IP applied full time, I rarely ever use DX anymore. Whenever I'd get something set up just how I wanted it, a reboot or even a log-off would screw it all up again. And yes, for me, running a full theme, or a group of objects (widgets?) took a sizable bite out of the RAM. If you're running any kind of resource-

wow brings back some memories!! Heh sometimes I still use blackbox for windows. Its amazing how much has changed tho. I started on the IBM PC Jr when PCs first came out. Text interfaces unless you had time to write some sort of text based UI. C and assembly language programming.. heheheh it was a bit fun! I forget exactly who, but there was a BBS that had a sort of graphical UI back around the late 80's maybe 1990 or so... ah well. <img src="http

Its a shame each upgrade breaks SDCentral somehow. Not true in all cases. If a person has a problem they should contact support so the issue can be resolved and the problem made known. Thats how fixes come about. I had a problem with the SDC and contacted support a few days ago and they sent

you can upgrade to DX Pro for a reduced price if you are an ODNT subsrcriber heh That would work. I had to send off an email to sales to get the info about doing just that. Information doesnt seem to be readily accessable on their website. <img src="http://images.stardock.com/wc/smiles/BigSm

This time I had a whole bunch of anchors and the fish count was off from when I unloaded it. Not a problem as I removed all. However I think this is a bug that it repopulates with and over abundance of objects when it gets reloaded. Also the wallpapers dont load. I have to do into display properties and reset the images ther

Kevison: The Outlook issue should be resolved in future builds. There is a minor colour scheme applying issue with the current builds which is making certain system colours turn black. Ok, Im not worried about it as I dont use the calendar much. However about the jittering. Whenever I have an

Is working well for me with the exception of the Outlook problem. the previous and next months days are blacked out on all the custom skins I try. But at least its not blinking all over the desktop. Every now and then I get jitters when I have a rolled up app and I switch skins.

Sure, and what I meant by that was in buying a renewal to Objectdesktop I should be entitled to good skins for a year. I have both ODntwork and WC. WHen I bought ODn it was with the assumption I bought software that could make my desktop look better and function the way I want it too. However it did

A magazine would be great I definitely agree, maybe one that has an occasional CD loaded with goodies. I spend way to much on tech rags and books, but one more def wouldnt hurt. Tutorials would be great. Or even frameworks for things like WindowBlinds. A WC mag would be great.
