I just went through a goodly selection of your work and now I realize that the ones I liked a lot were yours. Most of your work is balanced, but to be honest, The Frog is not balanced. The light seems to be uneven to me. It doesnt sit right. Visually my eyes seem to be torn because there are several areas in the picture that the light seems to focus. Pulling my attention away somewhat continually. Your other works are blended very very well light

my question is how stable are these replacements? I have (sometimes still do) use BB4WIN and it works relatively well.
i noticed that double clicking on the outhouse produced a red and green bar graph. Whats that for?
go to www.shellcity.org great! thanks for the response!
Has anyone done a review on replacement shells? I was wondering if there was a better shell other than the explorer.exe found with XP.
reminds me of WindowMaker or Blackbox, looks nice though
[and I checked, she doesn't want the Pet]) . . . ...If I poke it in the eye, will it at some point, bite? heheheh that sounds like my wife
..double post sorry
and how he interacts with the user's desktop Hmmm mine just kicks the ball and sleeps.. doesnt do any more than that (besides eating and hitting the bathroom) Is he supposed to grab desktop icons and play with them too?
Not bad. I do see a bit of video refresh lag though. Whenever I minimize or rollup, there is considerable lag and afterimage left on the desktop. Not sure if its because of the pet running or not. However it is more noticable since the final product release of WB5.
lol I love the WB skin its just awesome!! Well done!!
"Maclobster" oohhh kayy... what is this world coming to.
heheheh too funny
It would be great to just "drive" my machine, and enjoy the drive, instead of looking at all the gauges waiting for some issue to arise. I agree with that. I spend a lot of time resolving issues than the development that I would like to do. It sucks to have to develop on a platform that by its very
heh this thread has slid a little..
Wierd I had registered the first time and for what ever reason it didnt take then re-registered again and im good.
Tried to register but it doesnt seem to work. Registered then went in and tried to login .. doesnt work
that was insane... totally insane.
Once I am ready to put my skin together (WB) how do I make the dialog boxes rollup by right-clicking on the title bar? Is there a sticky I can be pointed to? Thanks in advance
Anyone notice any wierd interaction between WB5 and DOTNET? Whenever I minimize VS.NET and then restore it it looks like the default window frame shows for a split second then the WB skin shows. ALmost as if the WB image is overlayed onto the default windows diaglog frame. It was more noticable with transparent skins such as the VISTA-LIKE skin(WB)
Or is this merely another example of the Tech news media all buying into Microsoft's hype machine Its like trailer trash breeding more trailer trash except that every other generation breeds a little better trailer trash. Who knows... it may be more hype but then the final product isn't out yet
Project pages would be an interesting feature at WC. People could create teams and set up projects. I know that there is nothing stopping people from doing that allready now, but if there was a premade system I think it'd encourage it. Something like how ArgoUML is developed?
That is also represents a failure on WC's part. In the future, WinCustomize should serve as a meeting place where people can work together more easily. Now that is something I agree with whole heartedly!
Reading through the posts here and in the other article about the review on DX I think a alot of us would like to see working examples of how DX could be used in different environments. Most of the themes I have sampled are nice but seem to be for show only. Eye candy is nice but if its not usable it has a very very short shelf life with me. I run a linux workstation with either Blackbox(love it greatly) or enlightenment(fun!!) both al
