The folks at The Escapist have an article up highlighting 3 things they are excited about in Galactic Civilizations III. "I was absolutely stoked for the opportunity for more interplanetary exploration and exploitation, and along with Josh Vanderwall had the chance to check out the alpha bui

It's been thoroughly explained what the Founder's Elite is. Other than that....
Quoting Tridus, reply 8 This has been an ongoing source of confusion since forever, as we keep getting situations where one post says Vista and another says 7 is the minimum. They really need to clarify it one way or another. The official position as far as I understand it is Only Win7/Win8 are officially supported Vista 'should' work but not guaranteed
That is co
Only Window 7 and 8 will be officially supported.
And so I ask, having paid for the Founders edition so many months ago now... what was the point? Does this really net me anything outside of a useless forum badge? If people who paid chunk of cash more get Alpha "elite" access, what on earth was the first tier of "Founder" even for, aside from "helping" fund the game in a superficial way?
The Founder's Elite gives all future expansions and all future DLC, among the alpha access, name a star, etc. The regular
I know some of you have already made some videos, and others are working on them. If you make one please post it here as well just so we can keep track of the videos and see what our fans are creating. :) As it's also been asked in several threads, you are free to make your videos. Just please indicate that GC3 is an alpha and not a finished game.
There's no NDA, but as the other person quoted me before, it needs to clearly state this is an alpha and not the final product. As far as logos go, that would be taking our logos and using them separately. Having them shown in the video is fine.

Sometimes a fraud check might come up and cause a delay.
It's clearly stated in the game description, and there's only so much you can do to inform someone of the details. If people are't going to take two seconds to read the basic description, then not much else will help them.
The Steam download should be around 1GB. I'd remove all the content and try a fresh install. You can right-click in Steam and delete all content from there.
The Steam key for the GalCiv 3 Alpha is available when you sign into your account here: https://store.stardock.com/myaccount/products If you do not see the key, but instead see this: http://screencast.com/t/bmnIFmEb5FxY , you would need to upgrade your Founders Edition to the Founders Elite Edition to have access to the Alpha. Otherwise you would get access to the beta at some
This $99 version is the Founder's Elite. You get: The Galactic Civilizations 3 game Alpha access All future expansions All future DLC Name a star Game credits Forum badge Eventually this edition will be discontinued, and will be replaced by the standard game price of around $49.95. Yes, although it is recommended you clearly state this game is an alpha.
Moved to feedback forum, and your images did not post correctly so I had to remove them.

I would speculate that the notice will be one or two weeks. In that case, where do I subscribe to their newsletters to get that notice in the first place?
Go to www.stardock.com and there's a signup box there.
