As an aside have you ever done some delving into how the 27books of the bible were put together? It is fascinating.
How deep are you expecting us to delve? The Bible has 66 books, so I presume...not very....

I tend to run Linux on VMware within my Windows box. I would be concerned about performance and mysterious driver issues--would probably have to grub it. I will say this much, though: modding Galactic Civilizations 3 would be a heckuva LOT easier on Linux. I might even move all of my XML files over to my VMware partition and set up my development environment there, now that I think about it.
Here: (Admiral and Capt. Lorca having a holographic chat on board) Admiral: You are to reel in your use of the spore drive. Lorca: What? We are at war, we rescued a colony under attack with it! I was given discretion to use the Discovery vessel to wage war with the Klingons as I see fit! Admiral: We can't afford for the Klingons to know too much about our secret weapon. You are to reel in
Is this game balanced?
No.
This game has so many knobs and it changes so much that a strategy guide just doesn't work for this. It would be like publishing a strategy guide for my mod. It also just doesn't take too much expertise to win.
Who created God? Man did thousands of years ago
Okay. Then who created man?
Maybe so. You got the waitress at Waffle House to talk to you.
Some say God is/was an alien, so who knows ...
Well, by definition of what an alien is, technically....
This week I liked both Discovery and Orville, but I have to give the edge to Discovery. Jason Isaacs is seeing a lot of action. I'm still bothered by the plot holes, though: one minute, Captain Lorca is talking to the admiral. The next, he is getting abducted by aliens. When did he ever board a shuttle in the first place??
By the numbers, one could argue that humans are more like 99.9999999999% ape because one chimps (for example) are much more complex than we generally have historically given them credit for, and for two, we're all just losers when one thinks about it..
That's not by the numbers, though. That's subjective. 98% is the degree of genetic similarities between humans and apes. And incidentally, you know what animal shares the most genes in common wit
Hm, that sounds like a good idea I didn't think of yet (but is no option for building up a defence when you see the enemy fleet one turn before it arrives [e digicons];)[/e] ). One more reason why the ground invasion and ground defence system should be revisited by the devs.
Station legion in one turn is not much of a winning option, either. You can summon multiple legions at once
I agree about the station garrisons. For Military SB's, I think they should be given one move, just like Terror Stars did. In fact--giving them a planet destroyer upgrade module (which explodes the planet into a bunch of asteroids and durantium) would be really fun. Now that would be cool. Can you imagine blowing up class 0's, crossing your fingers, and hoping for durantium? They already have their effective range increased by 2, which lets them cover m
Unless you are being totally interdicted by fast ships, you can build one transport to "station" 5 legions for cheaper. The AI can't use invasion tactics on you (because your planet is undefended), then you can retake your planet, such that the odds are in your favor. You have the option to use invasion tactics if you want. A transport is not locked down to any one planet. You might be able to leave the transport on one of your own starbases, for a little prot
I usually build(sometimes rush) the research-improvement first, then build a shipyard.
I'll do that if I'm Xenophobic and have a good +research bonus tile on my homeworld.
Why even build Station Garrison in the first place? Planetary Invasion heavily favors the attacker. If you lose a planet, better to use your legion retaking it back. Can't honestly say I have ever lost a planet, either.
StaticShipBluePrintDefs.xml needs to work, and that's up to Stardock.
Okay, thanks for the info. Gosh, what a hack. That's terrible. But the MercenaryComponentdefs matter, right? Yeah, you mentioned Pewpewpewpew, but not the ship role for it.
As it stands right now, there is no reason to choose any citizen other than a leader for an empire wide boost.
Choosing admins is quite compelling.
I must be very confused. I'm using your mod. The Pollen and Perseverance use 1 admin, as advertised. But not much else is adding up. For example, the Wraith says in the README it is Capital. EXP1_StaticShipBluePrintDefs.xml says it is Escort. The game says it is Support. The Pewpewpewpew has the +100HP, but the game says Capital while the StaticShipBluePrintDefs says Assault. The README doesn't say anything. In al
I think iReadEarth figured out how to mod some aspects of them? This game's still fun, when modded.
I want to mainstream your mod.
Their tweet and youtube thumbnail has in bold letters, "Evil is Better". It already was better, so I hope not.
Malevolence is fun! At least, that's what they keep telling us.
Who's "they"? Everything that I've heard, and that I agree with, is that Malevolent was OP already. Or at least the most powerful of the three, even before they buffed it.
I just rally point to itself and launch manually. Problem is, I keep forgetting the ship is there.
Thank you for offering the option to run 2.33 galciv3classic.
