Thanks Franco fx.... I can't figure out why my icons are all scouts. Mr. Startrek at one point stated there was a bug in the game and so the game defaulted to all scout icons. I think most of my icons were scouts, but some are different... I think a few people commented at the top they are seeing this as well, but if this is not a widespread problem, then I may have a hard time getting support from dev. I will try to post

Hi Echillion... yes all my custom ships are scout ship icons when I zoom out.... well.. almost all of them... I was told by Mr. Startrek this is the current limitation on custom ships.... Hopefully they will fix this in the final 1.1 release. I am having a fun time distnguishing different ships

I downgrade using win restore (be sure to turn off opt-in). In turns of custom factions, so far I've been having a lot of luck moving items between 1.03 and 1.1, deleting a faction is an entirely different story in 1.0.3 :) That said, 1.1's annoying missing custom-ship bug is driving me nuts... I have to built all the 'hyperion buildings' and some of my ship 'MAY' show up... I am sure a bug has been filed on it already... I can only

There are a few affordable ones... I am not sure how good they are though. To be quite honest part of the reason for purchasing this game was the promise of printing my own fleet :) I guess I will have to wait patiently for that feature to be released... looks like beyond 1.1 :(

Yes stock ship/race seems to be fine... Since I have all of mine customer made, its a bit messy.... A fellow forum member mentioned this is a current GCIII limitation and there is a bug open to the developers.

This may end up to be a few questions in one..... and some of it might have been answers in previous threads, I did try to look through the threads but I am still confused... 1. I created a bunch of tiny/small assault fighters and I am trying to use them as the carrier planes instead of the game default fighters. I think from another thread someone mentioned threead different xml files to edit... Anyone tried and can you give me some general pointers as to how to make it work?</

You may have a hard time getting high res image. I got the full set on HD and even that was iffy in terms of quality. I am a big B5 fan and a few of us made some B5 ships. Check them out if you get a chance :) (The warlock class I did was bad... So please ignore that for now ha ha)

Made my B5 Explorer Class out of Cargo Hull and I think I made a mistake of making it too long..... It is now smaller than my Hyperion in my map :(

IMHO Mr. Startrek's ships are awesome! I have seen his non star-trek work and they are great looking as well... I wish my designs are as good as his.

I must be an idiot. I spent quite some time looking around and couldn't find a way to save/export my ship (or collection of parts) as new parts. From what I can tell it can be done. Can you guys help? Posted this on two other areas of the forum, but I believe this is probably the right place for support :)
