Wondering if the Ultra terraformer ability has been altered/balanced as well, it suddenly seems less powerful and there are fewer tiles available for it...

Great stuff!!! Any plans for a huge one? ;-)
Not just the minors..... I have it with all races... I'm unable to trade for credits..although I have loads of it
So it seems they have modified the carrier behaviour; this time the fighters take damage/ get destroyed and after both (or all 4) are destroyed the next battle you get your original load again. interesting ..... But that's not my main concern.... I am just wondering... WHY do capital ships or any other ships not engage in battle before all availbale fighters are destroyed???? Maybe it's just a bug I don't know, but time and time again I observe my c
How long did it take? I'm sort of curious. What sort of victory? Doesn't it get a little tedious later on?
At the end I took a scientific victory, but I have to say; the game gets a bit boring after a certain stage...your advantage keeps growing and growing, until there are no real opponents left. I was even wondering what would happen when I decided to leave the UP, maybe that would make
I had the same problem in 1.00 and 1.01 (also send a ticket in), but my insane game with 70+ worked fine at the end of 1.02 and I was able to finally finish one
Great guys...hope to see it soon ;-)
And I was starting to think, I was the only one with this strange problem! Have the same problem, already send a ticket in for it... I save the game twice...first time it automatically comes with the ~sign in front, when I manually delete that and save again the savegame isn't corrupt and can be loaded
Fixed a stuck turn when the AI invades 2 planets at the same time Unfortunately this bug, which was supposed to be solved in 1.01 has returned again in my game with 1.02, AI invades two planets at the same time...and the message reads ' waiting for other player'
The problem in late game turns; with autosave and trying to save yourself crashing the game, is a problem I had too in 1.00 and 1.01. Starting a new game now to see if it occurs in 1.02 as well. But I also still have a problem with manual saves (every time I save a game, the first time the ~sign is placed in front of it making the save corrupt and I have to manually delete that ~sign and save again for it to work) Not sure yet if 1.02 has solved this as I was 26+ h
Hope it does have something to do with Valve/Steam and synchro tbh Because I just had my second insane map game crashing at the exact same manner. Deep into the game this time at turn 490, I am the most powerful civ in the game, suddenly my influence drops dramatically (no idea why but it's on all borders so mine has shrunk??!); and auto-save crashed the game again...
Ok I will probably have many more, but these two annoy me a little over and over again. 1. Tech trading : sometimes the AI offers you tech at a considerable lower price then when you would have to buy it from them yourself. Now that's fine by me, but.... I would like to have a look at my own tech tree before I decide whether to agree to their deal or not. At the moment I refuse almost all deals, simply because I want to have a look at my own research
Guys!!! I think you missed a fix ;-p I'm not having any hang-ups anymore where the game stops in the battlescreen when you turn on trails with HQ graphic incl. bloom and anti-aliasing!! Will see if it still remains the same after 8 battles, but so far had 3 battles in a row with trails on and no hang-up If so; thank you!!!
Jeeeeee Opt-in is there!!!
the big question is when will this show boating of the patch end and actually become a released patch...this week? next week? next month?? perhaps i made a mistake of getting Gal civ 3.. if they are going to show boat EVERY single patch, expansion, dlc for days or weeks at a time... absolutely rid
Did you know that on Steam; the game library screen when selecting GalCiv III still shows a screenshot from the betaversion? Looks really unprofessional!! (at least it does in my country version Dutch, don't know if anyone else has the same screen)
Maybe it has something to do with the fact that there are offworld starbases now which can be created by a constructor, but also still the possibility to build a shipyard in the planet building list? (something that confuses me still)
Just wondering if this is the cause for a lot of crashes on saves/new games etc. Seems to me Steam synchro is somehow not working well (have it myself with savegames, which suddenly reappear and crashes on saving etc.) Already have a ticket in.
From the start of playing through the beta's I've had the problem that everytime I try to save a game under a given name, the first time it adds a ~sign in front of it, and I have to manually delete that to be able to get a proper savegame. (wondering if anyone else has this problem?) This time I started a new game in 1.0 insane map something like 67 AI opponents. And somewhere around turn 449 things are going wrong. I can't save a game myself without crashing, and the aut
Good fix. [e digicons]:D[/e] But I haven't found in the list the next bug: one of the Neutrality addition gives 3 FREE ships on every planet... But in fact it takes away 1 credit for one ship... Today it was for me economic crush...
Are you sure this has nothing to do with the maintenance these ships require? Every ship requires maintenance cost, whether it is free or produced. So yes it will
Uh..just one question... When? :P
Well maybe it is something the AI should do as well? I noticed this as well, in mid/late game your tech advance goes up way faster then your AI opponents, simply because a human player is able to buy technology from other players mayor and minor (and some tech is really worth the investment). What I'm still wondering about is how the political party techs in the diplomacy section are playing? You have to choose one political party; ok fine by me. B
What's also strange is that normally when you colonize a new planet, you only see the standard buildings (f.i basic factory) and it automatically upgrades to more, if you have researched the proper tech and your que is empty. But when you conquer planets, you also suddenly see upgrades there like manufacturing centres you can choose to build. And indeed the mentioned special buildings. Also it is still possible to build a secondary planetary defense system,

Well...I do, and I don't have any real big problems, even with all the graphic eyecandy on. Sure you have some slowdown in late game between turns, when all standard factions are still growing strong, but nothing that makes it impossible to play.
