The Drath old ship-style is available through one of the DLC packs. There are also a few examples of this race that other players have created up on Steam. So what's left, just the special abilities, right? I think a fairly easy to mod/implement special ability would be privateers. The mechanic is already in the game for Commander upgrades. I have a question regarding the new commonwealth system. When I create a commonwealth, the conquest victory condition now adds that new "race" as another number (of races) to be defeated in order to achieve conquest victory. If that is not a bug, then why would I ever want to create a commonwealth if I have to just go back and reconquer my old planets? Maybe I'm missing something but as soon as I saw this in-game I stopped so that I could ask...

Same issue here. Large galaxy, started w/ 12 opponents. Around turn 200, the "waiting turn" lag has gotten to around 45 seconds.

I've used the Anvil in every game that I've played. I definitely think that it is an exploit, and I now just buy it to "block" the AI from doing the "blitz" tactic. I personally think the Anvil should be moved to a higher tier in the Merc screen or have a substantially higher cost. I haven't said anything about the issue though because there are several other more higher-priority issues for me regarding bugs, etc.

"Wait" error - I am also getting the "wait" error where the game just hangs with the "wait" button grayed out. This error has occurred on each of my games, shutting down and reloading doesn't help, and it is at the point now where I won't even try to play the game again until it is patched. The game is very enjoyable, and it would be great if I could progress through a full playthrough!

I'm actually quite excited about what I'm seeing Stellaris do (based on the dev and let's play vids) with the 4x space genre. I see myself putting in lots of hours playing it, and I'm looking forward to seeing how it impacts other 4x games in the future, including GCIII.

I bought the game, most dlc, and now the expansion. I cannot fathom why players don't have an easy ship style set creator. I see the instructions on how to do this for modders. However, I have zero skills in that area. If this was easy, I imagine we would see lots of ship style sets rather than the thousands of individual ships or collections in the Steam Workshop. Really, Stardock, I just want to know if this is something that you are working on.&n

I recently came back to GCIII with the expansion, and I was wondering if this issue has been resolved yet. I love that there are so many neat ships in the Steam Workshop. What I'd like to know is where do I find completed ship style sets. I don't see this option in the Workshop, and I don't see links to completed sets in the forums. Is there still no list of ship style sets (besides Gauntlet's awesome mod)?

Been away for a bit, hoping some of the kinks would get worked out. With 1.2, is there a way to download new (modded) ship sets? I see on the Steam Workshop that users can download individual ships, but what about a complete ship set? If not, any timeline for when this will be implemented? Thanks.

I'm sure that there is an easy way to do this, but I can't figure it out. Once a custom faction has been created, how can I go in and edit the file? I see a .Faction file but can't seem to find the xml files. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

I don't really need or care for tactical battles. I just would like the current system to make sense. With range and speed being featured aspects of a ship and weapon type, it is illogical for combat ships to not fully utilize their range/speed advantage. As others have mentioned above, perhaps range should be taken out until it is fully fleshed out by the developers. Combat speed (ie thrusters) could just add to the evasion factor/roll. &nb
