After the event that creates a bunch of size 25 planets, and I've colonized the ones in my territory, even after 50-75 turns, the AI still tries to colonize them. I see colony ships heading my way, they get to the planet, then sit there. Sometimes they stop and sit in the middle of nowhere, like they are confused (well, they are, they are just an AI), then after 10-15 turns head back, then turn around and head for a colonized planet. That's the only oddity I've f

Got the latest update to 1.3, loaded a save (maybe the root cause, not sure), and in the tech tree description of 'Terran Environmental Options", all 3 choices have the name "Terran Environmental Option1, 2 or 3_ShortDec' instead of the actual short description. pek
That's all. pek
It was the older version, so I'm not sure how much they will help, and, no way of posting to this forum. But, if you have a secret way, let me know. pek
Um, nope, the capcha on the stardock support site has defeated me, I gave up on it days ago. Can't determine if it's a space, an odd spacing where no space is, or if it just hates me. No matter, no tac cases for me, I'll just whinge on the forums. And post small files in mvp. pek
Got My star name in there! No matter what, it will always be My star. pek
I got this after a few upgrades, couldn't make out the text, but you'll have to check my mvp forum post to see it..... pek
I didn't see any need to change this from GC2, any structure you already built is auto-upgraded. And, the old version (fusion reactor/anti-matter reactor) replaced the old with the new in the build list, rather than giving you a choice. Not sure why you would want to build old-style rather than the latest and greatest, and yes, I understand "an old one is better then none at all", if you see the need to keep that in, at least let it auto upgrade, rather than having to go in an
[quote who="TheMathKing" reply="29" id="3438683"] In response to admiralWillyWilber. 2): World Customization: The customization we've seen before are things that directly relate to bonuses on the tile you build on. What I was thinking is to have bonuses, neutral traits and penalties that can be listed for the planet and do not necessarily correspond to a tile improvement. The neutral traits could simply be flavour text and history that has no gameplay val
Sorry, I tried to post the error files to my support ticket as per your post this morning, but, the capcha defeated me. I tried 10 times, then gave up. You'll have to do without files form me. pek
Ejected? You make it sound like your kicking it out of the nest. Or it didn't pay it's rent. But, it's frustrating to "eject" a ship, click to where you want it to go, then see it not moving. Then you remember "Oh, I need to click on it after I specifically ejected it" [e digicons]X|[/e] pek Yes, I know it's an alpha, but I'm going to bitch anyway.
Prepare to scroll. Noticed we got an updated today, too. Processor Information: Vendor: GenuineIntel CPU Family: 0x6 CPU Model: 0x3c CPU Stepping: 0x3 CPU Type: 0x0 Speed: 3499 Mhz 8 logical processors 4 physical processors
Aha, thanks. Now, where do I stick it? Nevermind, I see it did it for me (a bit creepy): Debug Message: Uploading crash report Debug Message: Considering sending report to Steam Debug Message: Really sending report to Steam Debug Message: Sending data to Steam Debug Message: Completed sending data to Steam But, it's on steam somewhere. <p
Was playing along, I guess mid-game, where planets had built most of what they could, research about 2/3'rds done, and, bam, ctd. pek
I have xfired 7950's (13.12), been running like a champ so far, no hitches, glitches or bitches. pek
Right, you can choose "continuous production" of something, like in Civ V. Or you could spam the hell out of colony ships. [e digicons]*_*[/e] pek
Odd, using xfired 7950's with latest driver (non-beta), had no problem starting first time. Took my screen res, 2560x1440 right off the bat, no fiddling. Turned off bloom, didn't like the effect from any other game. Oh, win 8.1 64 bit here. pek
I really want my miners to exploit. What good is being ruthless unless I can exploit someone?
Excited with GC III so far. Going to ignore the obvious "Placeholder for future comments" stuff. Like (after 15 min or so playing, just had to get this post up): The "hey you have a ship to move" notice is nice. Getting free ships from anomalies (colony ship gave quick early boost and another scout was good). Had some trouble figuring out why I got +10 pragmatism until I got the next screen unlocking the pragmatism tree. Once ag
Quarterly DLC is good, no need to push something that is not ready if it's not ready..... Monster ZOC would be great, as long as it applies to ALL factions, no just the human player. And while I'm at it, adjustable aggression would be nice. Diplomacy improvements are a great idea, too, not sure what happened to the whole "the longer you trade with a faction, the more likely they are to make favorable term/treaties" with you concept went. And, giving a facti
I love the loot (could be more variety, though). Love building up my ancillary units more than the heroes, esp. with a sovereign that can give them some magic. I'm done. pek
Because I forgot to quote from the post: There is a silver lining in this in that, for the first time, I've had to really start training someone on AI programming who has been implementing the core parts of the AI (I still design the AI but I'm not the one coding the AIFindClosestEnemyUnit() type stuff now). So the net effect is that you'll have 2 people doing just the AI instead of 1. What, no single point of failure? &n
Test for badge, ignore, as if people don't, anyway. Edit: Ouch, join date 2003? That long ago? This must include Drengin.net accounts. pek
