Is the bug that breaks your game if you add 'Cheat' to launch options though steam back/not been fixed? Before I updated to the new beta the game would work by typing 'Cheat' in the steam Launch Options window but now it dosnt? It seems the wiki says "dont use it though steam or it breaks your game and u need to download" however it was working for me before the update.. ---- [I was going to post a separate post with the "bug" except the wiki says do
We cant use mods which is fine, but what about ships that are using ship parts from the DLC packs? Wont they not work for anyone who dosnt have the DLC? If that's the case should we just use the existing models of designs from the races and alter the weapons etc on them? Edit: Im also guessing you would like ship weapons, Armour, ect from all different tech stages? Or will replacement/upgrades be automated in some way? Ed

I thought it was changed that when you pick the the Synthetic race trait players were prevented from picking food/growth and similar as Synthetic races cant use these traits anyway and it was basically giving people "free" points. Just my random 2cents to help, sometimes when I first start the game I get an instant freeze or crash on the loading screen. Sometimes it happens so fast you can't even tell it opened. When this happens most of the time the stardock sdcrashlog.exe (not exact name but I'm going from memory) is open in the task manager and so all you need to do is force close that in order to start the game correctly. Otherwise you get the game already running error.. (Sorry for the bad grammar typing o
