Fixed an issue that could cause sound popping when opening windows
Ohh i had that XD i thought it was my speakers so didnt say anything.. glad its fixed :P!
Maybe ask stardock first, if they are making leeway this might put Bink into a corner and make it harder for stardock. Anyway, make a post with a petition when your done I'll sign :p Oh btw, did u end up checking to see if your terrane also had the angry face.. I think its there eyes, they look evil. Lol
I can't actually see why RAD Game Tools are so stubborn about not producing an encoder for no commercial use to support game modding communities. Commercial Developers would still have to pay a license fee and it would only make their tool more popular. Commercial developers using the no commercial version would not be an issue as RAD could easily check their license status and tell if video in a game where bink2 encoded. I
true, isn't there another animated image format though that supports true color, I'm going to look it up sure I happened across it a while ago.
There are alot of formats that support Alpha. BUT most have limitations, Size being the biggest one. Then some even have color limitations such as only being 16 bit instead of 32 bit color.. which i guess isnt as bad as 256 colors xD.<
How about allowing it to use Animated Gifs as a stop gap?
Probably because gifs are limited to 256 colours and would look like arse. I can imagine people complaining when the workshop come out saying how bad it looked. Besides I'm sure stardock don't want there game tainted by low quality stuff. But who knows, I'm sure they will work something out by 1.1.
On this note, is it just me or is the terrain pic buged when you start a game. He is using the angry face animation instead of something else?
Also u have to remember as well, a lot of the Ai issues were found by us and not star dock. When you have thousands of people playing compared to 20 people in the office you going to find a lot more things. They had beta but realistically a majority of the people who had beta were not actually playing it, and the ones who did were not all adding bug reports. The only way they could fully test it completely is for it to be released and the community to give feedback. Things like balance for ex
When your looking at a star base and press the arrow keys the sounds reset each time. Could you maybe make it continue the sound in the background when you scroll. When im arrowing through like 20 of them it hurts my ears. [e digicons]:omg:[/e] [e digicons]:(O[/e] Cheers!
Only thing i can think of is that some of the Advanced modules require more then 1 constructor module to build. if you hover over the improvement it will say something like +1 or +2 construction modules needed.
Ad-block plus?
This bug is still present in Ver 1.0.1.1
Its such a pain in the butt to, i think im going to beat an AI to a planet or outrun a pirate and then.. nope..
its not a bug apparently, if a class of a planet is high enough then it might naturally not have land that it can improve. Which makes sense considering the techs are more just to improve crappy planets not make every great planet better. Kinda an extreme example would be if you colonized the moon, and then got a tech for Ocean habitats.. wouldn't be right to say "oh i got the ocean tech i should be able to build it on this dry rock of a planet". I mean its not the same thing, but you kno
While I agree it maybe should be looked at, I think people forget it is a race ability. And it kinda should be stronger then most races by default. Otherwise what's the point of the ability
That's supposed to some kinda big, fat, smart bug, isn't it?
HAHAH, Movie gold!
Perhaps you can post your source art, and I can show you how to make it work in game?
And as for the source art, I have changed it from what it was, but here is the link the the folder with the image, <a href="http://imgur.co
Is there a way to change how the Foreground image is show both in the Diplomacy Report screen and the starting screen when you start a game. It seems to just auto-centre on the image but depending on the image used it can look funny. Example if you use the Brain bug image from Starship troopers I made I want to be able to make it move down more. atm you load it up and it makes it look like a saggy butt on screen lol. Had similar things happen with other images I have made, the char
What was it for? Maybe they are clearing out similar tickets... Or just a bug in the system
I'm not sure of the full details, it was in the last Dev stream that brad was in about half way though I think.
At least thats my opinion. I don't play with synthetic on maps bigger than small. Due to the fast increasing amount of micromanagement involved with synthetic beings.
I personally like the extra micro, keeps me engaged :P. Tho i guess a solution would be have the Assemble take a fixed amount of turns, and then the Fast Assemble etc just decrease the base Value. That way they could easily bal
Mostly because only like .5% of people use it, and there are already so many free ways to do it for most games the time an money isn't worth it to make it. Brad suggests to just set up a Dropbox with the save directory with a friend and play that way. Same thing. They are only a small company with like 20 people, they prefer to use that money elsewhere, which I kinda agree. That being said they might look into it later down the line like after an expansion if they have the time an people
Dam, I played a lot of this game and never noticed it until now
I think home star system planets not giving colonization events is an intended feature. Mars doesn't either.
really? o.O that doesn't make any sense... have the devs confirmed this anywhere?
Im playing the Krynn and im not getting any colonize event for the Kryseth Beta and Kryseth Gamma planets.
Can we get an option to scale up the map icons.. on large maps its really difficult to find things your looking for when you zoom out, it gets really busy. Or maybe better can we have an option to turn certain Icons on and off. eg: so I can show only planets I own or show only resource icons. Maybe you can feed it into the mini map UI where you can turn various things on and off on there. I also would love the option to keep planet names on screen when you zoom out, currently they
The two techs that give you more UP options to propose seem to preclude all the older proposals, meaning you can no longer propose the early ones. At least that's what it seems to be doing.. unless its just randomly selecting 4 possible proposals each time and im just having bad luck with them. I remember in the beta you were able to scroll though them all when you unlocked more.
