I agree with this suggestion, I've declared war on many races that I didn't intend to. Either move it to a different option, or add a screen that asks if you're sure you want to declare war so that way you're not declaring war on someone when you're really looking to trade.
I asked for this way back in beta 2 or 3. Very annoying

Ideology is working as intended for me also
Very strange Playing on laptop (meets min requirements), got through one full game without a crash. Played next 3 and all crashed around turn 10-30 range. Crash is a complete lock up, must use TM to kill. Does not happen on mt desk top computer. This is exactly the same as i previously reported and submitted two tickets with files (including my computer info from the SD interrogation pgm) If you think it will do any good i can open a new one and send you the files. &nb
likewise. thought it was my computer till i saw this
no youtube ???
This is a petty issue, the background stars are very distracting on a busy map. When playing on larger maps, you have a bit of information overload and its one more thing you have to mentally filter. It would be nice when you're in the polishing phase to make them less pronounced. I love the game and my wife has informed me that I've wasted too many hours playing [e digicons]:)[/e]
I agree with the OP.&nbs
It seems to me that it is too easy to build a super economy. I never remember in GC2 being able to crank out Dreadnoughts or learn high level techs in one turn. It is super ease to do this in GC3, regardless of map size.
ITS WORKING (pic links) Bur how did you get a road grid like that????
Known bug, see the bug list in support for others

Have you researched all planetary improvements? P quality can go pretty high when you do
There is a problem with this however, if you have the manufacturing capacity to build say, the Xeno Factory, in one turn, you cannot do so as you are forced to build the Basic Factory and then the Xeno Factory next turn.
Ah, i see what your saying. But the current method is much better early-mid game before you have enough capacity to build an improvement +base in one turn as your getting the benefit of the base whi

It's kindof cheating to choose whatever tree you want. If you do it this way it is at least based on choices you make.
Good point.
To be fair, aerez said one shouldn't get ideology points for rebuilding the same building on the same planet.
True, sorry aerez. But, as much as i might want it ... still think burn baby burn creates more problems then it solves.
But, will this behavior be changed???
Why would you want it to?
This allows you to get the benefit of the base structure while building up to the highest researched level structure.
This is good
Sorry aerez, i gotta disagree. As i said there are times when i really want to be able to do this; just allowing it would be game breaking (IMO). This is just one example likely not the best but build, get points, destroy, repeat .. would let you blow through the entire ideology system in a very limited number of turns. Many less than through colonization or waiting for random events. If there is a good way to do it, I'm for it, But right now i don't see
