Over all this, if this were SD or any other business. They would have shipped this by now. How long till we are satisfied with what we have made? The game IS playable. Also, pro tip; I added a 50% population growth to initial colonies and made 10b the base population, and upped the colony modules to 500m and it stops that...problem thingy you guys were having. Been playing with it bug free since I bought galciv2. ;3 (consider adding more social bo

Oooohhhh!! Everyone loves the ship designer, I almost wish there was a way to share designs NOW!!! Or if ALL future designs in the game had to be voted upon. Democracy increases morale like NOTHING else. And I'll fight anyone on July fourth on the moon right next to Neil Armstrong's foot prints and the flag, that says otherwise! (I am such a comedian. My young apprentice, you need money to make power . Sometimes the plan doesn't twerk out but but if you follow step one and have read Sun Tuz: The Art of War, then you will know that even you have a small empire it is the one who founds the first trade monopoly and speaks at the UP that shall be victorious, for no empire can truly become powerful without diplomacy. :3 In other words, money wont buy you love but it will buy power, like techs, ships, friend

Money, money, money, money, money. Then its build, trade, build, trade, build. Finally its money, exploit, start proxy wars, finish them while they are weak and poor, and lastly I win. Maybe I hold off on the winning and play for 100 more turns if I like the map?

[quote who="MabusAltarn" reply="454" id="3507103"] Had a few more ideas. First, it's probably a good idea to confine all our tweaking to the racial techtrees and leave TechTree.XML alone for now. That way we can share the racial techtrees containing all our tweaks making it much easier for others to test. To make this easy I suggest we set up a shared folder on a cloud serve. I know Gaunathor uses dropbox and so do I. I can set this up. This will allow us to sha

They are in line with everyone else colony wise. Hope that helps with the balancing the colony rush! The Yor still get 300+ colonies a game so...

Way to formal... As for the idea, it might be best to have the ship it orbit of the planet e.i same tile. That way it saves micro management and combat would be automatic when a shipyard is built. However that would make winning very easy as only shipyards can be built. (maybe that should change.) also blockades don't have to be a war thing, they can be for trade reasons and a sort of cold war where the planet is occupied but both sides are not at war. And without making it to com

What? Then there would be no minors! We are getting 100+ races, we don't need some minors to start colonizing and get killed. Although they might die anyway, what's the point in having minors if they don't stay minors? Maybe a alliance of minors, and one in ten could colonize or do something special but largely I say keep them in there place.
