If you don't see a DesktopX icon in your taskbar, try clicking the DesktopX icon in your start menu. This will take you to the tabbed configuration menu for DeskTopX. Go to the default tab and take the checkmark out of, "No tray icon". Hopefully, you can see the tray icon now.

If there isn't another operating system, then for some reason you probably have two active(bootable) partitions. Maybe the disk management section in adminstrative tools will help. Or, maybe get Partition Magic and let it set the other partition to inactive. [Message Edited]

I'm assuming that you have two active partitions with a operating system on each one. And, WindowsXP recognizes the other partition when you don't want it to. Although, it probably has no idea of how to boot it. Try this. Control Panel/System/Advanced/Start Up and Recovery, then take the check out of "Time to display list of Operating Systems"

You can normally right click a object in DesktopX and choose properties(or object properties), and modify the links or shortcuts. There are many tabs so you'll just have to find the link and shortcut stuff. You may also need to be in edit mode by right clicking the taskbar icon to even see the properties options. Good Luck.

I do think the idea of a quarterly contest is great though. But, what happens if someone makes a really great windowblind skin during the other sections time? This might make the person not upload it. Then, the question of how do commercial skinners figure into the mix. For example, the Skins Factory makes a premium skin for a client...Or the Skins Factory starts making windowblind skins to take all the money. I mean they have many artists already making money.
