I, for one, would like his mods available. They are excellent quality, and all my interactions with Horemvore were excellent at all times.

Give the ship a unique name and use the search. It calls up the fleet or location. It has been a while since I had such a ship, but that is my memory of what the search was capable of. It seemed useful.
There are other events with the same bonus for more than one Ideology. It does not seem to indicate a typo. And yes, there can be more than one trait bonus per event. A buff to all weapons types is simply a list of three calls in the code.
Screw the complainers. I bought the Founders edition and bought a gold edition package for a friend. I have done my reviews and I have spent time on the forums, sometimes actually being helpful. I submit typos. I feel I have done my part of the unwritten deal that enables bug fixes and updates. I dislike feeling lumped in with a bunch of folk who do not meet proper courtesy and appreciation qualifications. That is one reason I avoid th

If you are trying to exceed the standard number of traits and ability points, that does not exist. If you are just creating new civs, try New Game, select a faction, and select either copy or edit. You can then save the edited civ under a new name with your new configuration. If you post it on the Workshop, you will have a backup copy for any recovery purposes.
Study the Durantium Cloud Event, Pragmatic Choice: "+5% armor rating to all ship." should be "all ships.".
I could swear I have seen the Peacekeepers attack both me and an AI player. I lead some peacekeepers into a rival faction's fleets. They seemed to take the available target.
Tech Stellar Emigration: "Humans are admired throughout the galaxy, reflecting the success of our civilization." I am not playing a human faction. Try "We are admired throughout the galaxy, ...." Tech Cultural Assimilation" "Foreign cultures.....new arrivals." should read "....new discoveries." "By doing so can increase" should read "By doing so we can increase".
You cannot mod files in the game directory, only in your mod directory. Schema files are kept in the game directory, and are not looked for in the mod directory. Schema file mods are not supported.
Benevolent, Prominence I, Eminence. "and build your reputation as a benevolent race." should read "and builds your reputation as a Benevolent race."
I deleted all the old factions I had from the Workshop. Looking to replenish with Crusade compatible ones. Is there a way to tell the difference?
Ugh. I'm dying to tell you about what's coming in the next expansion pack! Some of you guys are going to loovvvve it I think.
I am sure you are wracked with frustration. Compared to knowing and not being able to share, not knowing and not being able to share is worse. ;)
Given the mounds of research I get in some of my empires, I can force some Research build up and rollover by taking one tech at a time, then let it cue up along a branch of one tech type. I can then accumulate enough Research to completely fill up a previously untouched tech branch in one turn. Easy in late game. For example, I can leave the espionage tree alone then fill it all at once. If there is a limit to the rollover, it is big enough not to matter, even in extre
ascension gate should be ascension crystal. Also, later in that conversation there is {AMOUNT:1} which needs the word credits after it.
If the amount is "1", then the word needed is "credit".
@erischild, I've screenshotted some help maybe: https://www.screencast.com/t/Ianj5S0I
That did the trick! I feel a bit awkward at not knowing it. But now I am a happy ship part twirler again. Thanks!
This seems obvious enough that I expect this is known already, but I just haven't seen mention of it. So I am asking if it is happening to anyone else. I cannot edit the animation on ship parts. When I select a ship design with animated parts, the editor shows me the ship but is not moving the animated parts. Selecting a part and giving it an rotation speed or similar function and nothing shows in the editor. The part stays in place. If I quit the e
You say you are building "only factories". My first building is a space elevator. It gets a flat amount of construction. Surrounding it with factories then gives you multipliers on that flat bonus. You will need that flat bonus while your population and asteroids are still coming up. The space elevator is a "hub" building, one that has a base value and then gets more flat bonus with each adjacent improvement of the same type, then the other buildings add their mu
People design dedicated sensor ships to avoid that sort of thing.
Yes, yes, sensor ships. Vision is knowledge. Knowledge is power. Find them early and hit them first.
Yes, it's rare, and that is PRECISELY the problem. In most games, most civs can just expand without a military at all. One or two civs, however, cannot, due to pirate snipers flying around their home world. Not only is this a problem in 20% of your games when the pirates shut you down and you autolose, but it's actually a problem in 100% of games. That's because even if the pirates don't shut you down, they exist somewhere on the map. Tha
In fact, the primary thing I want a colony ship for in my case is to settle a world and pick the Benevolent bonus, because I want the 150 research point Benevolent skill ASAP. That gets me 2 techs, and I'm on a race to get to Ion Drive as fast as I can.
I do this sequence for much the same reasons, and those two speed techs are really useful to me as well. A point to be made is that there
If you are playing any sizable galaxies, look to 16 gig min RAM and 32 is better. Consider SSD to avoid any paging delays. I am not interested in "good" performance; I am into really swift response. If you are looking at CPU responses so hard, do not skimp on RAM.
The only 'mod' is use is an altered StarNamesText.xml because the in game names are mostly awful. I don't use it as a mod though, I just replaced the game version with this one. (and kept a backup, obviously.) https://www.nexusmods.com/galacticcivilizations3/mods/79/? [/quo
I build the shipyard. I then build a space elevator. I save my early money for a couple good Mercenaries and use those for exploration, I play in wide open space galaxies and knowledge of where planets are is key. If the Mercenary selections available are crud, I will use the shipyard buy as a good plan B.
