What level of difficulty are you playing where you get DOW'd so early? This seems nuts tbh!

When the game was young, there was lots more D and it wasn't uncommon to be able to build starbases to capture two or even three of them. But not any more. But regardless and, of course, we all try to capture multiple things with our starbases, I'd like to see more D than we've currently been reduced to.
I'll cast my vote for the game needing at least somewhat more Durantium and also ways to capture more than one with a single mining base.

One does wonder how this bug crept in and why it wasn't fixed long ago!
To me this essentially makes Incredible and Godlike unplayable in typical crowded galaxies. The devs need to take a LONG look at this huge speed buff that wasn't around a year+ ago and also do significant balance work for the these top two difficulties.
Just curious as to how does one get this V3 beta? I'm a Founder and have not found info as to how to get this beta!
A couple of concerning things, playing on Incredible. 1) Early in the game, ie colony phase I am seeing AI ships and colony ships with 15 range!! This is way too much. We've gone from ships that had too small a range, to ones that have too much too early. 2) What have you continued to do to Malevolent? It really seems to be over-nerfed now. It went from very OP (at release of this game) to close to useless.
Some of these ideology buildings have been over-nerfed. I understand that those who spend a month playing a game in some gargantuan galaxy might have 100 planets with them, but for those of us who play with more "normal" sizes it can be tedious to accumulate IP.

For those not seeing the AI build farms when Brad insists that they do and for those winning easily. I suggest to play nothing less than Incredible. My issue on incredible is that I am quickly conquering the Yor and they aren't able to expand their synthetic population as they don't have the resources early to do so. As for farms on AI worlds, I cannot tell this early and it will depend and whether I can take planets from someone else next.
I still think that many of the reasons for the turmoil caused by many complaints about performance issues and bad reviews are caused by people playing this nice game on older and substandard computers. Christmas is coming and I urge those who can afford it to give themselves a present and upgrade their system for today's new games.
Am playing 2.61 Incredible and quickly invading Yor worlds and they basically don't seem to have had the resources to make more population!

Agreed, I am having way more problems in my Incredible level game than I used to as the AI is better at warfare.
"Slave trade route benefits balanced to not provide quite as much approval bonus as well as reduce production bonus." LOL!! This was a problem before? I always felt that the bonus for slave trade routes was weak and especially by the time you can get them if progressing normally thru Malevolent.

Many traits have +2 being not as positive as -2 is a negative. I am OK with that and feel fine leaving it to our devs.

I've complain about this for over a year! What needs to be done is to make this more practical so you are only at war with all over Pragmatic factions. A warning is also a must.
Keep plugging away as this game is clearly improved now.
Just a question as I was trying to figure out why I shouldn't be Aquatic rather than Carbon Based. Is Brindle's still in the game now, or do Aquatics not get to build it? thx .. neilkaz ..

This however , is great. When a player dies, their starbases and shipyards are destroyed instead of being given to pirates.
