Sorry Seilore been really busy with RL stuff but you seem to be aroun the same time each day so I'll promise to try and make sure I'm on then if not I'll pop into multiplayer and see if anyone wants a game?

I have mined 2 resources at a starbase before and if frogboy wanted them to be mobile he wouldn't have called them "Bases" this is why we now have mobile shipyards to move around and pump out constructors! besides which it would overpower the game - why build large or huge ships when you could have the march of the starbases?

they probably haven't been implemented yet as the drengin had psyionic blasters and the others had different unique weapons and/or defences?

I've noticed that on the planetfall screens the game sometimes cant make its mind up which screen to use as for a split second one screen will be jumped in front of another eg you could have a arid planet screen then the comp slams in a jungle scene bare seconds later? don't know if anyone has experienced this or just me?

Yup they are Sisko. @ Rand Star Trek ships especially federation ones can never be too blingy just check out enterprise and excelsior in spacedock at the beginning of ST3 [e digicons];)[/e]

Paul did say theres more resources coming into the game where you can mine different resources from different asteroid belts and substances from the nebula's. As for mining with bases I'm getting on quite well with it as I unlock the mining ring and barracks quite early on. I haven't fully developed a base yet but look forward to when I do [e digicons]:grin:[/e]

As for mars going from barren rock to lush planet perhaps you could pretend that we had to terraform it 1st? After all in its current state its just a airless rock in space.

Short answer - Yes there will be carriers its mentioned in the dev streams and the journals.the prevailing theory is that it'll be a module that you add to a large/huge hull that carries 5 of your default fighters? supposedly.

As Seilore said above it kept crashing and the peer to peer connection kept failing or I kept getting Host disconnected msgs.oh btw I only had 8 planets so you were beating me up until it went bye-bye.

I like the new event cutscenes but the visuals don't replay like on GC2 but the music does or is this supposed to happen?
