BTW, I also fully expect that when my mooted-in-my-last-post "Ultimate GC III" comes out (let's say in 2022/23 or whatever) that it will sell for much less than $99. But the thing is, and I hope most Founder Elites will realize this, someone who waits long enough will always play less than even the most generous pre-release goodie bag deal can give. Well, unless we're talking about completely free, that is. ;) After all, I can go over to GOG right now
The "Future Expansions and DLC Included in $100 Price" is what got me hooked, like Larsenex. I would be pretty pissed off if the post-Founders offers/Steam sales also included those pre-paid but I'm basically 100% sure that the pre-purchase of improvements offer is off the table. Does anyone have evidence to the contrary?
Oh, I strongly suspect they will offer bundled sales at some point. They

If not then when this sale is over it will be back to the same price it was before. NOTE: I hardly consider myself one of their "most delusi

I also wonder if the length of the alpha/beta might be in play here. As far as I know (and I don't follow SD products nearly enough to really say), they've never had a paid early access that has lasted as long as this one. Sorcerer King, for instance, will be, what, six months? Eight? They didn't even take orders for it until it launched into beta, IIRC. So perhaps part of the problem (if one really looks at it as a problem) is the fact that this wi
However those are not the facts. I purchased the game because Stardock told me my last chance to pre-order a game (i.e. purchase the game before release) at a discount was March 2, 2014. My last chance to purchase the game was not March 2, 2014. The email was incorrect. This is my issue. My issue isn't the sale. It's telling me that my last opportunity to buy the game

My central point remains: You got to play the game whilst others didn't. If one doesn't like playing games in an unfinished state, don't buy Early Access. Trust me, Stardock will be more than willing to take your cash when it goes live. So, yes, one might have paid more at some point during the alpha/beta than others. That point is unarguable. I fully admit it and respect it. Likewise, you still got to play the game and help shape

The complaint that arises when games go on sale has never and will never make sense to me beyond a small amount of an intellectual level. Everything (even the uber strict priceguided Apple products) will go on sale at some point in its life cycle. Often times it happens during development cycle. The only questions that should be pertinent are: Was the game worth the price when I bought it? and Did I get enough enjoyment from the game during t

Alternatively, bullets and Missles could make use of a gravity to extend their range if near planets. Somewhat like they did in Star Control melee fights. A fleet could be required to re-visit a star base to re-charge // restock after a fight. Unless freighters are used to re-supply fleets from planets or

Sounds like something worth saving and reloading to see if it persists, and if it does, submit a ticket with the save game.
In the OP, yes. But in his second post, he said he just got the queue eject option, and then claimed it didn't do anything. So I wanted to confirm what was going on. :)

Nebulas have a 50% accuracy rate, which means if you are trying to get to a destination within it, 50% of the time it will go somewhere else as it gets lost in the cloud. From what I've seen, if it gets lost on one click, it'll get the correct path next time you click.

Snipping a lot of good stuff, but wanted to comment on a couple of things:
And what's up with thulium? I've had maps with none; the few that have had it, it can't be extracted by itself, it shows up nowhere and eventually can't be extracted in conjunction with other resources. On the other hand, being able to scan a planet ahead of time to see if there is a trade resource there could be incredibly powerful as it will also (presumably) tell you what bonus tiles a planet has. This might not matter on low quality planets. But on higher class planets it could be very valuable info indeed. As well as seeing tile placement ahead of time for the adjacency game. I realize that people have clamored for the ability to see what a planet looks

Super Projects were one per civilization, not one per game. Yes, some races had Galactic Achievements that were unique to them. But they weren't technically Super Projects like the Hyperion Shrinker and whatnot. Mind, the concern about racial Galactic Achievements is a good one. But calling them Super Projects might lead to some confusion. :)

As a player who likes to go wide, consolidate, and then embark on conquest of the galaxy, I love the trait just the way it is. ;) It being a early/early-mid game trait is fine, as how many wars of conquest are there really in the early game? OK, maybe on smaller maps I can see how this can be a pain. But even on a crowded map, I think having that 100 turn buffer (which was two years of turns in GC II) isn't all that much. It lets factions with weaker militar

I seriously doubt we'll ever get the ability to make more than one improvement/ship per turn, if only for game balance and multiplayer concerns (I bring up multiplayer because the current system of rushing instead of getting an improvment immediately is directly tied to multiplayer according to a prior devstream I saw). While we could research multiple techs in prior GalCivs, I am very certain that we couldn't build more than one ship or improvement using just ra

I would point out that it's not as easy to get multiple economic starbases around a single planet as it is theoretically. First off, other planets might be in the way. or set up in such a way as to break the perfect combo on is trying to set up. Secondly. one might want to put in mining starbases (or others) and that will definitely play havoc with placement. And even if one can get the perfect combo for one system, that might interfere with another system. Plus
