They aren't deleted just located in the old folder. Do the error messages still appear?

Try going to Documents\My Games and rename the GC3Crusade folder to something else. Rename, not delete it. You'll use all your custom created content if you delete it.
Try whitelisting GC3 and Steam with your anti-virus software. Also try renaming the GC3 folders in \Documents\My Games to something else, like OldGC3Crusade.
On what platform are you playing?
When you say it crashes what exactly happens? Does the crash reporter pop-up?
Sorry to hear you are having trouble. It would help if we could see what's in your debug.err file, it is located in \Documents\My Games\GC3 or \Documents\My Games\GC3Crusade If you would upload it to a cloud service (DropBox, Google Drive, One Drive) and post a link here, the developers can take a look at it. Thank you for your patience and patronage.
The Altarian Resistance won because they had alliances with all the remaining civilizations.
Sorry to hear you are having trouble. Does it also crash if you are starting a new game? Thank you for your patience and patronage.
Make sure you don't have a map loaded. Press the X next to the map name.

I managed to reach turn 125 without any problems. When did it get stuck for you?
View the file in OneDrive and click share Then Get a link Post that link here.
I think you posted the wrong link, I can't access it.
What didn't work about /NoMinSpec? Did you write it exactly like that? Your systems processor is alright, it's the RAM that would hold it back. Make sure your motherboard can actually support more before deciding to upgrade. The recommend specifications for the largest map size is 32GB RAM and 8 cores. It's normal to have some files changed, they are modified based on your system. So when validating to Steam it appears that they are different. Your Steam g
After a few more experiments I think I know what's happening. If an equal amount of traits are unlocked in two ideological fields the game doesn't know which to display, so it shows the default ideology. If you were to unlock one more in Benevolent or Pragmatic it would show one of those, like in the picture below.
Terran Alliance have Pragmatic as their default. I unlocked one trait in Benevolent and it changed to that one as my dominant. You are not locked into the default Ideology of a civ, you can select whichever ideology traits you want if you have the points. Dominant ideology should be based on the traits unlocked.
All civs have a default ideology they will follow (for the most part) when they are controlled by the computer. Just tried a small test and my ideology is properly displayed. Not sure why it is not correct in your case. What DLC do y
Please don't post email addresses on the forums. Larger maps are blocked on systems that don't meet the requirements for them. You can bypass it with the /NoMinSpec command.
Sorry to hear you are having trouble. I have verified that there is something wrong when playing as a synthetic civilization without the Crusade expansion and have added it to the bug list for someone to take a look a it. Thank you for your patience and patronage.
The wheel was removed and replaced with the citizen system. The tax slider should appear in sandbox games. Are you playing the campaigns? They follow the rules that where when they released.
Sorry to hear you are having trouble. We need to know you have worked through all relevant topics here on the FAQ: https://forums.galciv3.com/486601/sins-of-a-solar-empire-rebellion-support-faq Thank you for your patience and patronage.
Well, from your explanation the problem appears to be that it is a pirated copy. I suggest getting the legit version by buying it.
V2.3 is ancient. And what do you mean by "got from a buddy"?
Thx y'all! rn I'm playing as an off-brand synthetic, so I can't recreate it yet. I will try to do so asap. Where should I post the saves/contact the devs? Also, how do I find the save file to share it?
Just upload it to a file sharing site and post the link here. Sorry to hear you are having trouble. If you have a savegame where this is reproducible it would help a lot if you uploaded it to a cloud service (DropBox, Google Drive, One Drive) and post a link here, the developers can take a look at it.
