In the real world its like 40n.

Cumulative addition why is that a bad thing. Trade doesnt just effect economics historically, but effect science, economics, manufacturing, approval. That would be more accurate. So much that there is no other way to keep up scientifically. Still disagree about population being that significant, but game wise it is hard to fix. We might have property wise this is true, but if you produce goods for yourself, and no one else how does that help. In order for population logi
They do need to modernise the manual.
Nice, but these aren't the updates I'm looking for. A toggle to globally disable auto-upgrading of improvements is at top of my list. Would probably be wise (and a huge boost to the AI) to drop the DefaultShipPopulation from 2.5 to 1.0 so the AI isn't throwing half its raw production into space with its first colony ship. A few of the old moral boosters, like the economic starbase stuff could certainly com
Good ideas
I like the idea of incrementing food on a planet with more than one city. I do think all hubs should have better adjancencies than justuildings.
Not sure why you need to cap cities? I would think you should solve the underlying problem rather than start adding hard caps. Might as well put in a max number of planets I can control as well.... Going on what another said about pirates (or even minor civs - give them a reason to be around) you could higher contracts to attack other civs? Should be simple: <

You got karma is this your way to get karma. genius.
this is good just remember you can move your shipyard 7 tiles away from your planet without losing production if possible do this for multiple planets. If not possible still using the 7 tile rule for your homeworld move the starbase to the next closest planet. I will waste moves for this.
2. It's been said above and in many other threads, but if there is a way to make colonization and starbase construction within another empire's influence only possible when at war, I would be happy.
please it has been said several times no closed borders referring to 2. This seriously ruins the game.
I keep saying a fixed jagged knife. Those ideas are good.
Well one of the things i suggested on another forum was use class zero planets instead would you still hate them.
Mods have been enabled and I've been testing by starting a new game. I made a backup of the .XML file and changed NumRandomNebula to 0. It worked! If anyone knows why the game is ignoring the modded file I'd still like to know. I haven't mentioned this before but I'm legally blind and wasn't able to play the game without removing the background nebula. Thanks again for the help.
he didnt copy the folder exactly ther
I've reinstalled the game and verified integrity of the files. Then copied StarboxDef.xml file from steam's Data/Game folder and pasted it here: \Documents\My games\GC3Crusade\Mods\NoNebula\Game. In the DefaultStarbox section I made the highlighted changes: 1 <NebulaMa
Actually i go .5 unless i have a population above 4 i get enough population to lower my colonies population down to 4 so i have room to grow until i get a city.
Also i would like the ideology system fixed, like where instead of having 3 different catagories of points. Just having 1 that is the average number of all three choices, with a seperate section where the points to spend would just be added together. Instead of benevolent, and malevolent, which sounds like good vs. Evil lets actually have ideologies. Lets make a fixed jagged knife dlc. The manual needs updating it is over 2 years old.
One thing that probably would have helped things out would have been to wait until after a sale to come out with a major patch. I miss administrators from the base their seems to me not to be enough. I definately don't like the food system it was better in the base. I'm talking about organics. Global is not the problem, but without a percent per turn. But a flat food I just can't seem to play carbon. Go Slynn. unknown ship style is getting annoying. I think
I liked jhadea dax.
Agree if we have auto repeat that there should be an option to have this off by default.
I agree is not a good idea you forget about what you are doing.
Troi was my favorite, or maybe it was that half romulan half vulcan christie allie in wrath of khann.
