Hi SD, This is a first for me. The game stalled at Wait. I was still able to move the map and use the menus. Of course, the Save option was not forthcoming so I wasn't able to save its current state. I did upload my latest save file to OneDrive at https://onedrive.live.com/?id=3349147ABC3EE2B1%2183252&cid=3349147ABC3EE2B1 I just realized there is an auto-save that is a few

My complaint is that it is a BUG - the behavior of the Wealth improvements is not the same as the other Production & Research improvements, for no discernable purpose. All the basic improvements provide their own type of adjacency bonus, which is the whole point of encouraging people to plan their planet layouts, and one of the Big Selling Points of GC3 (over GC2). Whether or not the wealth improvements should also provide an Approval and possibly a Population ad
If you have a savegame where this is reproducible it would help a lot if you uploaded it to a cloud service (DropBox, Google Drive, One Drive) and post a link here, the developers can take a look at it. Savegames are located in \Documents\My Games\GC3\Saves or \Documents\My Games\GC3Crusade\Saves
I just checked my saves and none of them currently have what you are looking for. I am colonizing

I just got the v4.0 opt-in. I always send 1 Pop on a Colony ship. Many times, I'll colonize a planet and will end with a Pop 5! This makes the citizens very unhappy until the Pop dies off and reaches an acceptable population (3 in most cases). Adding an entertainment center isn't enough. The Morale boosts from an upgraded Capital and that other building you can get (can't remember the name right now) aren't enough to put a dent in that 4- 6% morale rating. Where's all

And the problem only compounds if you find a few anomalies that reduce the tech cost by 15%. This bug has been around forever and as noted by AdamMG, it will probably never be addressed. This game is riddled with bugs that never get fixed. I am tired of pointing them all out. An exercise in futility. I am looking forward to version 4.0 to see what has been fixed or once again ignored.

A side note- this clears up once a ship with sensors touches the affected area. Some issue with the FoW code that uses influence area? You are right, of course, but it's yet another bug that SD has not fixed. SD tends, it seems, to only fix things that make them money. This game is riddled with sloppy code. Once upon a time, GC was one of the best games on the market. Now it's a mess, Richard

"It's Bug A or Bug B: How many people like the "automatically upgrade planetary buildings" option on by default? You'll be happy when "Don't upgrade planetary buildings automatically" is the default. They won't." I don't care if it's the default. I just want a way to turn it off (or on) when I start a game. "It's lose, lose for Stardock. Therefore they've gone with what they'd like - which is auto-update. Hence no fix." SD doesn't lose anything. In fact, they

Details like this one that never gets any attention from SD turn what could be one of the best 4X games extant into an unprofessional and sloppy endeavor... how sad. I put up with these annoyances because I love the game, but I shouldn't have to. I keep holding my breath for SD to clean up GC3 but am tiring quickly and beginning to suffocate. Please, SD, fix all the annoyances and all those things that players have been asking for (auto-updates!!), for an eternity. Do that, an
Hi Rap you do understand that influence is determined by your planets, and starrbases, not just your planets. Even, if it was just your planets they are not evenly spaced apart. Now, as far as the fow I think it does it one space from the edge of you influence border. I've noticed this problem too.
I certainly do. The problem is not with the planet's influence but with the FoW influence. This
Yeah, I noticed this right away and turned of the no FOW mechanic. I also noticed the FOW bug with fast ships (leaving skipped sections) is back (at least, I thought that got fixed once upon a time...)
This also happened to me but only if the ship moved while off-screen.
