Not a bug, its counting the time you have the game active and its active so its counting
Lightbanee
It destroys AIs as well, they continually have shit morale.
Needs to be fixed, colony ships shouldn't be able to colonize with no-one on board, but this will indeed be tricky to properly balance because this is so OP lol
Missiles are slower then lasers and with range extension tech lasers can be as long ranged as missiles but hit directly instead of having travel time.
Quoting Lightbanee, reply 2 Yes very easy, the mods have provided dead planets, so it would be easy to just give the faction the extreme colonization technology and the aquatic world specialization tech. If someone could do it
Probably like a shield capacitor, redundant storage, I don't know how you could restore armor unless you applied it to the same tech that does hull repairs that it can also repair hull plating as well. Missile defenses are not feasible to begin with because they're physical objects, but when you get to laser point defense that would be easy to restore with a defensive power booster
They degrade over time in battle but reset to 100% afterwards.

Bombardment wouldn't work because its a planetary defence shield it projects a defensive barrier around the planet so you wouldn't be able to bomb it.
It was disappointing, very short and easy
Yeah its currently broken
Indeed custom factions tend to not have issues with logistics, I ran a test case, I cloned the Drengin, and when they came up against each other, base AI and custom AI, the custom one destroyed the base one purely because it was using logistics. Even though neither was any different, they were completely the same.
The one they had in beta was clumsy it also didn't make much sense, so they've removed it for now, they will be putting it back in at a later date
I seriously doubt that will work, because where is your research and production coming from?
thrusters do have a purpose, they allow the ships to turn more quickly when they pass each other.
You must have a homeworld or the game will will crash, there are two presets already available, Abaddon which is a burned out planet and Dust a gas giant.
Indeed, you can see the tech tree, but your scientists can't they think we can do this and unless they are actively thinking of it because now they've done it they've moved on to the next project. Then another species offers different insight into it because they thought differently, makes a lot of sense.
Two things about Kinetic weapons: They're super cheap and they have twice the rate of fire.
and are short range and require far too much mass
no that's the cost of the ideology, if it says "15 Points" that is how much it costs to buy it. The buildings give 0.1 per turn
At first I thought it was a bug but I agree that it is working and the adjacency is where the moral improvement comes from. Maybe it's a bug maybe not. Either way it's a nice improvement
Interesting they must have just added the wrong colour to the building, I usually use the Pragmatic building +2 Approval +2 Military adjacency
Now that you mention it, my game has been chugging along a bit too... and the sound effects are starting to not play at all during combat. Specifically, the game hangs for several seconds whenever I try to zoom in, zoom out, or scroll around the map. http://www.mediafire.com/download/b40yw62lvx4s3eb/Slow_and_Sounds_Dropping.GC3Sav <br /
Yeah pirates are a definite load hog I killed them for my second game and loading times significantly reduced, even with my beastly 4.0GHz 8 core and 16GB of RAM and 2GB of dedicated graphics RAM it was still lagging.
Why is it called the Pleasure Park then and why does the tooltip say greatly increases morale? It is also colored as an influence/approval building not an economic building which are yellow. I think its a bug and not supposed to be increasing money
Missiles are unbalanced, they do triple the damage of mass drivers and cost less... where is the reasoning in this? It should be the opposite, mass drivers should do the most damage as they're short range weapons, while depending on thruster speed of your ships you're likely going to be struck twice with missiles and at least once with lasers before you can even get in close enough to fire. It makes mass drivers totally pointless bulky and weak, in comparison to lasers which are sligh
the Yor don't even work in my games lol, they just sit there and do nothing. Same with the Terran they don't do anything. The Drengin and Krynn are still unbalanced, they can rip out a doom fleet from nowhere and constantly have far more planets then anyone else.
