Unfortunately, I didn't pay attention and didn't record the steam appid. However, looks like we'll be able to see when it goes live here: <a href="http://steamdb.info/
I activated my key on Steam and it didn't say "Galactic Civilizations 3" or anything like that. I'm going to assume for the moment that this is because the thing isn't technically available. But did anyone else have something like this happen?
The actual depot has not been published yet so there's nothing for you to download just yet. Once the depot is updated and published, you will be able to download it

It's likely that the appid hasn't been published yet. If anyone has the AppID when you registered the game it would help to sneak around in the SteamDB to find out what's up The alpha hasn't been released yet.
Oh I know I&#39

Just a few days to go and Frogboy brings us a few more tidbits in the Founder Vault. A few highlights * The "This is an Alpha" message is nice. Though for some god forsaken reason, despite a similar even more obnoxious warning, this has not made everyone playing DayZ and Planetary Annihilation any better. One can hope that GalCiv3 fans will heed this warning! * Some broad talk about how the tech tree. This will likely be a hot topic of debate in the Alpha! * Apparently

This is a problem in many strategy games. "Solutions" to this problem are difficult and controversial Shogun2 has "Realm Divide" which effectively made the game 'gang up on you' after you reach a certain threshold EU4 has mechanics that effectively make it impossible to conquer the world Civ4 had 'corruption' which tried to control gigantic sprawing empires The problem mostly that these mechanics feel like 'rubber bandin
Will the elite founders editions be sold after march 27 ? My dad was wondering? DARCA
Stardock has indicated that they'll give some pretty advance notice before things 'disappear'. Given that a good week or so was given for the 'standard' edition pre-order thing was removed, I'd assume that when the elite founder goes away we'll get some notification.

Well GalCiv3 is supposed to be a lot more modable given that 'most' stuff will be XML based and thus editable. Hopefully someone will be able to use that infrastructure to give you the "Star Trek Mod" you desire.
