600 That seems to drive teh 600 credit cost. Though I'm not sure why its a 'disruption cost'?
Post yoru system specs from steam -help -system information
It might be easier to find people to play on the IRC channel

Odd on my i5-3570k it'll use up to 70% of the CPU across all 4 cores. And that's just rendering the main menu :P
That's weird I just tried that resolution on my system in windowed mode with no problem.
I had the same problem, using a Geforce 555M myself. Actually able to launch the game after forcing the GPU on, but like you I loose the text on most of my UI and the game is very choppy. Don't seem to be crashing however.
Ensure you're running the latest Nvidia drivers before forcing it
Depends on the save routine I suppose. Hopefully the devs read this and address your problem
Can you post your specs from steam-help-system information
Drivers are up to date, and rebooting didn't help.
Post your sytem specs from Staem-Help-System information. Mostly because 'up to date' is an entirely relative term.
For Intel GPU users the min specs say HD graphics 4000. My laptop has the HD 3000 chip. I was hoping it would work, but unfortunately i was not so lucky.
Update your intel video drivers from www.intel.com and try it.
I would like them to have the ability to code events like that, more so then they themselves adding it to the game. That would allow for some great mods!
You can in theory GameEventDefs.xml has the data for specific events and their impacts UIText.xml has the flavor text for each event Right now most people are seeing 2 events. However there are 2 others in the XML
A game that is otherwise identical will run faster and smoother without a program running in the background than it will with that program running ... so many arguing until they are blue in the face that this is not so shows how far gamers have come in the wrong direction, moreso that backward nonsense is not constructive at all to the OP.
And you seem to not actually understand how computers work. Unless you're on an X
This has been an ongoing source of confusion since forever, as we keep getting situations where one post says Vista and another says 7 is the minimum. They really need to clarify it one way or another.
The official position as far as I understand it is Only Win7/Win8 are officially supported Vista 'should' work but not guaranteed
I really like this idea. I had the pods for pain and research bonus for 5 of 7 planets and the other 2 were a found precursor ship and flood for reduced population. not sure if there is a good way to cycle through the events or if not many are programmed in yet.
My exploration of the XML shows 4 events, but just like you, I've only ever seen the 2 that most people mention.
If you're going to try Vista ensure you're at least on Vista SP2 and are 100% absolutely fully patched. I've seen a lot of people which Vista that for some odd reason are stuck on SP1
I notice your username has an accent in it If you are able, can you try creating a username that doesn't have any weird characters? Then try saving\ I've seen other games where users with non-ascii characters in their username can cause some issues
I notice you're running an Nvidia card on a laptop 1) Your drivers are old Driver Date: 2 Oct 2012 Update tehm from www.nvidia.com 2) Ensure you're forcing the Nvidia card via the Nvidia Control Panel. Your crash indicates the game is trying to use the Intel card which is part of the problem
Try to update your video drivers then reboot
Right now as far as I can tell there are actually 4 events possible The other two Ruthelss Vision Good- +30 Benevolet +10% research Neutral - +20 pragmatic +10% targetting Evil - +30 merciless +25% targetting -5% approval Norovirus Good +20benevolent +10% research Neutral +10 pragmatic +50% research -20% growth Evil +20 merciless +10% research -10% growth -5% approval I've never r
I have an FX quadcore, and the game is gouging my performance, completely swallowing one core, more than half of a second core and making the other two cores twitch a lot for a 50% or so total CPU demand and some 3.8 of my system's 8 GB of RAM. Creating a new map takes quite awhile, and frame rate isn't grand even after a new map loads.
The game is currently very cpu intensive. its likely a side effect of the A
Stardock has indicated that this is ok. They do ask that you make it clear that the footage is alpha in the video and in the description. https://forums.galciv3.com/450321/page/1/#3451855
Generally speaking we are fine with ads on user videos, but you may not use our logos. Indeed engaging with them is useless. In fact I recognize several of them. They come onto EVERY SINGLE THREAD concerning Early Access as an excuse to just scream and yell about it. Any game with Early Access they're there ready to tell everyone how 'wrong' they are. Any thread in the main Discussions about Early Access? Yep they'll be there too. They're not actually interested in having a discussion. They just want to have a soapbox to scream about how Early Access
