I am loving GalCiv3 so far! Do you guys plan on releasing all new major and minor alien race 'packs' as DLC after the initial release and between expansions? These would be really great additions seeing as the galaxies (from what I have read) will be much larger. In GalCiv2 I liked some of the fan created races (a few were even rendered in 3d which was nice) but I crave more official GalCiv races with their own little storylines to go along with them. I have to admit it's been awhile since I have played GalCiv2. I loved it all the way from Dread Lords through Twilight and spent many (many) long hours building empires and having a great time. Time went on and I played other games and life went on... Well late last year I heard that GalCiv3 was coming out and I got all excited and followed every bit of news as it was revealed. After finally being able to become a founder, I loaded up the alpha last week and played the game a bit.

I too have had similar experiences with buildings and such matters. It would be very helpful to have intelligent advisors that ask you your preffered goals early in the game and adapt to your choices and advise you accordingly as the game progresses. Something a little more personal and 'alive'than the civ5 advisors. Perhaps each world could have a named leader that consults you each turn. For his/her planet.

I know the game is in it's very early stages and I am sure things will change dramatically as time goes on. With that said, the planetary view window is great and all but it is very reminiscent of GalCiv2 (feels like I am in the old GalCiv2 tremendously - too much). Even though the move to hex tiles is great - I myself was hoping that this aspect of the game would evolve past GalvCiv2. Has the development team considered a geodesic sphere format for the planetary view screen? Gran

Hello everyone! I just became a founder and I have a request/suggestion regarding rotation. Is there any chance you could allow us to rotate under the horizon? When I zoom in to check out planets and ships I almost feel claustrophobic when I am blocked from being able to get under the ships. It would feel more organic and fluid if we were able to rotate freely in any direction. Keep up the good work! I am l

I named mine Gamma Sue after my dear mother! :) Gamma is what all my nieces and nephews call her so it is her 'grandma' nick name and it is also her email/screen name. She also gave me the money to become a founder for my birthday! She shall be immortalized in the GalCiv3 universe! Also - for our names in the credits - are the majority of people using their screen names or are most people us
