Wanted to try an AI war with soak. I was also curious about using the tech unlocking. Using both can trigger an almost instant tech victory. This gives you several victories which depend upon your race, map size, and if you can also easily get the under pressure achievement. Just wanted t report that. Possibly a disable placed on any game when the console is used?

Yes uncommanded ships will not reroute due to pirate threats. Yes pirates add more into the game both in doing and considering. That is intended to add play to the game. I will agree that a ship that moves and senses a threat should stop and require direction. An important thing to mention is that you can adjust the amount of pirates or disable them completely if you like.
Brad said he knows 5 multiplayers. I will confirm a double to that. We now have 10+ confirmed multiplayers. We do appreciate the almost 750k and counting cost to that. I can confirm we have 2 player with custom factions is largly working. Since 6.1 opt in I cannot say about 3+, but I'm confident and I will let you know how that goes. Also a request to increase multiplayer to 5 humans. It would just be nice for me and my friends if there wasn't an odd man out. That being said as a list
Yes we have made it a bit further then that without having custom races in play. The use of custom races in multiplayer appears to make it a much shorter game if ya catch my drift.
At 499 early game they seem appropriately priced to me. I do think that the value of these should scale some. Possibly based upon their value to a player in potential bonus over time. If that makes any sense.

In your games have you used custom races? It appears that we can play provided we do not use any custom races

So I have been on a kick of trying my damnedest to play multiplayer since I first installed the game. Mostly with disappointment. We were successful in playing games up until Beta 5. From Beta 5 through today we have been largely unsuccessful. We attempted many combinations. Differing players, amounts of players, different computers, re installs, and just about anything we could think up. No game crested turn 5. With 5 being an anomaly. I'm curious to know if anyone has been playing multiplayer lately? We have had a total inability to play games multiplayer since I want to say patch 2.
Can you tell us about game stability for the expected launch? I feel it's vital new comers get a stable product to prevent bad PR that could stick. Multiplayer/singleplayer. Thanks

I did not feel a save would be necessary as these replicate with every attempt. I was also in a bit of a rush when posting. I somehow knew I would see that response though ;) PS steam installs do not typically install into Stardock\Galactic Civilization III. Depending upon where you install steam they will be located in a subfolder similar to "Steam\steamapps\common\Galactic Civilization III". Sorry just feeling snarky tonight, so i had to get a jab in :)

I know this isn't the ideal method for reporting, but understand I have been busy and I would like to report in what limited fashion I can today. This is a listing of bugs encountered over numerous gaming attempts. All of which were multiplayer ranging from 2-4 players. The 1st bug that was noticed was ideology events were not being triggered by any players actions. This appears to be a constant for all multiplayer attempts.
