Beta ver 0.82.4.0 After 4 hours in a game (in 3 sessions), and a dozen launches of the program to check rapidly various things, I have not had a crash yet; I hope this will last. :)

@Derek Paxton Thanks for the precisions about logos. Beta ver 0.82.4.0 The bug relative to the wrong logo for the Krynn faction ("RaceLogo_Krynn.png" replaced by "RaceLogo14.png", contrary to what is stated in the xml file), is still present in this version of the game. @Dirtyface83, @Derek Paxton "Gossamer" is also an animated cartoon character, and a condom brand. :)

Beta ver 0.82.4.0 Another quick feedback for the last beta. 1) General. ** The ship range limit is not visible enough for the Iconian civilization. ** The Thalan civilization uses the Torian civilization color (green) on the general map, it seems really strange to not see their pink and purple colors; and which colors will be used for the Tori

"Houston, we have a problem" * The constructors were already a problem in the previous game. They had the opportunity to rethink the whole system, by doing GalCiv3 from scratch, and they remake the same error. Why? * The way the developpers want the players play the game is not so important. WHAT is important is how the PLAYERS want

Beta ver 0.81.0.0 The wrong logo is loaded for the Krynn Faction. It seems right in the "FactionDefs.xml" file: " FACTION_KRYNN " ... " RaceLogo_Krynn.png " but it's the "RaceLogo14.png" file that is charged instead. There is also... The "Drath Legion" race logo is used by the minor race "MINOR_KLEPART".

Effects of Techs inverted ***** Beta ver 0.81.0.0 * The effects of "Toxic World Mastery" and "Radioactive World Mastery" techs are inverted; the "Toxic World Mastery" tech acts on Radioactive world, and inversely. * Ticket: #MAF-417-50782

Random crashes with total reboot of the PC ***** Beta ver 0.81.0.0 * Nothing specific, it crashes at any time, even doing nothing, just looking at the planet screen, the tech tree screen, the general map, etc., even when "alt tabbed" while using Notpad or an Internet navigator. If I remember correctly, it started with Beta 4 ver 0.70 release and subsequent. * Tickets: #JBU-190-84637 <

Beta ver 0.81.0.0 ***** When I play GalCiv2, I use a mod I made which, among other things, reduces the number of constructors needed in a game, and I only build resource starbases (Morale, Military, etc.). (In GalCiv2 (standard, not modded), there is already a lot of constructors to be built if the player want to play the game the way it is designed.) In GalCiv3 there is resources to harvest everywhere... 8C (It's jus

Someone plays GalCiv2 in the Terran trade screen, look at the monitor to the left. There is a typo in the leader name (D.L. Bradly)(and from the start of the alpha release), you can see the right spelling on the leader badge "Col. DL Bradley", in the Terran trade screen.

Beta ver 0.80.9.0 A quick feedback for the new beta. 1) Crash. ** Lots of random crashes with total reboot of the PC. @Franco fx Sorry, your quote was rather vague. :) Yes, "Sentry" command is better used to watch what's going on in a particular area on the map. "Sentry": the ship wakes up when an opponent ship (when at war or not) enters the ship sensor zone. "Guard": the ship wakes up when an enemy ship (only when at war) enters the ship sensor zone. We need another command: "Awaiting" or "Stationary": do nothing, just wait. A

@Franco fx [quote]Quoting Unknown_Hero, reply 18 [quote]On that note, it might also be a good idea to stop making sentries go idle when they spot a freighter from a neutral empire. If they spot it in your ZOC, chances are that it only wants to open a traderoute with one of your planets. Not much sense shooting down freighters if you don't happen to be at war with it's owner. @Hulsten [quote]I have a small suggestion regarding the UI. I have notice on the larger maps, it sometimes becomes difficult to see red (eg. Drengin) fleets on the map, because of the many Durantium-spots or red stars an the like. It might be a bit easier to spot the fleets, if their icons were blincking or pulsating (basically the same thing, the later only looks a bit cooler). If you put a ship with srong sensors in sentry mode and it keeps beeing stated as idle becuase it has sp

@androshalforc Yes, make them work in a "complementary" way ("flat" bonuses and % bonuses), so the benefits are "readjusted" all game long.
