Stardock you forgot the bloody tax slider bar and how it affects moral.
Not sure if this was a troll response but this thread was written pre-alpha. While it follows the basic model it's not the exact implementation of it.
Illauna
Generally no but are you in big screen mode. The audio could keep the sound card alive to prevent the PC from going to sleep.
Your approval bonuses are also included in the number. You can have up to 25% bonus/penalty depending on your approval.
Lol think I was replying to something else I donno. Lol copy the file to the mod folder and then edit via notepadd (or notepad++). I usually take the safe route myself and make all changes a mod.
Can I mode this file/doc directly in notepad or do I make a copy and drop it in the 'mod' section?
As with all mods the answer is, try it. If you are a founder you can correct your name by opening a ticket with Stardock. I think the list is just founder elites...could be wrong about that.
They are in one of the XMLs (CreditDefs.xml...maybe). Truth be told there is probably nothing stopping you from adding your own name to the credits screen. If you search for Illauna you should see two files popup one is the credits and one is a StarName. Then you will have your list.
Think the file is GalaxyDefs but if you do a search in the steam directory for Insane you should find the file. I believe the habitable planets is a percentage of all planets.
The only reason I could see playing with those limitations is a multiplayer duel. I personally like to see how many fleets my death fleet can mow through...not as many as other games which is a kudos for the design team.
If you click a tile within range of your planets it should move there but you may have to get creative to control it's path. This can happen if you are gifted a ship without much life support.
Let me check my PC: Origin UPlay Steam GOG Beamdog Gamestop (formerly known as Impulse that was developed by Stardock) Nope, this is not a monopoly. Steam is by far the best at marketting their games but they are not the only one. In fact, I regularly play games bought on GOG.
Be careful how you disagree with Achillus he PM'd me and let me know he reported me twice for disagreeing with his idea.
Is this the WoW forums? Although I don't know how you disagreed with him. ANyways let it go.
Honestly you can get good results by setting one of these patterns once for each planet never touching the wheel Global (Manu/Research) 50/50 Manu/Research - Research Planet - since you are setting your global to this you don't have to edit this. 50/50 Manu/Wealth - Wealth Planet 100 Manu - Production - Production Planet Leave social/military at 50/50. (or 100 military and just disable the shipyard when you
I don't foresee on this ever happening. However, if you watch Monday's dev stream Derek went over ideas on how to implement this by creating special resources required for the basic hulls. So, this could be done via modding. I wouldn't expect any programmer time to make this an option. It doesn't make sense for the current scope of the game (galaxy spanning empire) and is something that is more a less niche.
You should take a look at your graphs. This will usually tell you the area you need to work on. If your playing with tech trading on you need to trade as often as possible. If you are playing with it off make sure you have decent research I'd say no less then 50% for a beginner.
The weapons and armor are color codes for each weapon and armor pair. Beams = Shields Kinetic = Armor Missiles = Point Defense
Lol I'm an idiot a few people were watching the stream and no one told me my mic wasn't even plugged in haha.
Chillin tonight playing on my channel. Twitch.tv/illauna. Feel free to ask questions. Will be streaming from now until Midnight CST.
Check the schema files.
Actually with the range upgrade youc an easily get 6 around a colony.
Ah, yeah didn't play a lot of ToA. I seem to remember them having special techs. Turn 1 was like, you get a galactic achievement, you get a galactic achievement, everyone gets a galactic achievement.
I think it maybe cool for an racial ability that you could make up to 2 ships per turn.
Apparently I did not pay attention because I didn't know they were shapeshifters. I didn't play much of ToA though.
The only "cheat" right now is at higher difficulties it can see the map (maybe, I thought this was changed in a patch). This was actually for performance reasons. Other than that the higher difficulties gives the AI a handicap. Just like you would give yourself a handicap when you are playing your little siblings so they have a chance of winning...although I'm terribly competitive and take great pleasure in destroying my 8 year old niece in Disney Infinity. Sorry, Miranda is
Using solver in excel ignoring dimension ignoring adjacency. You basically need 1 farm per factory. You do have to account for approval and other buildings. For the most part it gets the job done if you don't want to pull a calculator out. Approval buildings get a flat 1 increase per adjacency bonus and farms get .05. So it's actually not 1:1 farm to approval building.
I like it. The original logo is pure gold. I through in some contrast just to make it easier to see. I will need to see what it looks like in game. I will let you know later.
