Updated exe on nexus. 0.1.6.7. I have just uploaded the main exe. You will need version 0.1.6.6 first. Unzip and copy to the Tech Tree Viewer folder, overwrite the main exe. Fixed CTD with missing Text. Fixed Edit descriptions Undo not updating main window. @Ant1Her0 Just checked the logs you sent me. It looks like you have some custom files in your Mods\ExampleMod\Game\ folder. Turn of mods and see if it happens again. (click View - Default Tech Trees Only). This will only load core files. If it crashes with custom trees. were they created with this tool. If not they may be missing some files. The editor assumes certain files will be available.

Horemvore, I have a new version of my Tech Tree Editor that may help you. It won't help with creating custom ship components or improvements (yet), but it may help with custom Tech trees. Apart from all the usual stuff, you can Drag and drop Techs to change prerequisites and change tech ages. Also the Stat Editor has had some TLC, you can now add, delete stats from drop down menus that are tied into the Schema files.

Does anyone know or is there a list of what stats work with what. The schema's are not much help. e.g. Modifier EffectType can have any value from the StatTypes Enums list. There are 254 different StatTypes many of which don't apply to the tech tree directly. Any advice?

No problems. I was just seeing if there was one already done that I missed. My Tech Tree Editor is going Beta shortly, so I will have time on my hands to code other tools if the demand warrants it.

What tools are required most by modders? GCIII Tech Tree Editor is nearing the end of Alpha, so should go in Beta soon. Which means I will be free (less busy) to look at the possibility of developing other tools, unless Stardock release some tools first.
