Nice, keep'em coming. If you think Drengin toilets are bad, look out for Altarian ones. How do you think they keep themselves purged of evil? :P [e digicons]:meow:[/e]
Achronous
Like I said in the other thread, open up the game in steam and on first run it will ask you to register it using your stardock account!
When you start up the game for the first time in Steam you'll get a pop-up asking you to register the game with a Stardock account. That's your chance! :)
So that's two bugs. I'm sure there was only one ship in that asteroid field.
No, I checked that as well. I kept attacking and attacking and then I realised "Wait, my ship doesn't have that many moves, what's going on". Then I moved the ship away, the constructor came out of the asteroid field and then I attacked it. It was gone and there weren't any other constructors.
Can anyone else confirm this? I attacked a constructor that was in an asteroid field and nothing happened. The pop-up asked if I wanted to confirm, I clicked yes, but the ship was still there. [e digicons]o_O[/e]
This seems to make sense, because in the next couple of turns the Drengin colonised the planet...
Had the same thing. I assumed it was something I didn't research, but who knows...
I've seen that, yes. Like you said it's limited in scope. I'd like to test changing/using all the shortcuts for the alpha, but it's not an option now.
Can we have a list of keyboard shortcuts, or can we set them to what we want later on in the release schedule? Some of the keybindings don't make much sense: I don't want G to be for the grid, I want it to set the ships to guard!
Hope the Expected final release will change to "When it's ready" :P
Agreed, especially the ship building. Even though I read Brad's feedback document I was still wondering where my ships where after I built them...
I think it would make sense to go back to dual queue. It worked in Galciv2 and it was fun. I don't see how changing it would make the game any better?
I would rather we have achievements that relate to the storyline as well. Something like "Revenge: Beat the Drengin as Torians". Others could be having a colony in the middle of an enemy's territory, or near a wormhole and naming the achievement "Deep Space (9)". Something a bit cheesy and fun.
I don't know but the alpha so far seems to me to be lacking in some sense of immediacy and intimacy, which is opposite to GalCiv2. I feel like I'm not fully in control (maybe because I still haven't got used to the slightly different mechanics?), but I feel like there's something between me and the game. I'll try to make sense of what's bugging me (no pun intended!) and write it here. Possible candidates: -1 queue system: I infinitely prefer bui
Exactly.
Dude, I know, SD said to mention anything and everything and that's what I'm doing, even though I know they will be fixed!
Probably Frogboy ;P
Perhaps we should list all the techs where this is written so we can remind the devs to fill it in later. I've only played for a quarter so far and that's the one I spotted.
Yup, I found it, it's in the description for the Life Support system research!
First things first, before even going into the game, the tooltip of the Steam achievements needs filling in correctly.
Ready to squash some bugs![e digicons]:banhammer:[/e]
When they're ready!
You've been waiting for that question forever, didn't you??! [e digicons][/e]
Indie is a euphemism for Independent. Basically means independent from big studios, but in reality means independent of big funds ;P
(Can we have a nice sound effect when clicking on one of the... hives square (that's what I would call it). Maybe something like a magnet clicking onto metal?) [e digicons]|-)[/e]
