I'd love to see more pure defensive Space stations. Perhaps make the military ones hold alot more direct weapon modules, and modules to draw enemy fleets into it.

Wow! Impressive changes for upcoming DLC. I'm definatly back on the Civ3 hype train. I'm a 100 dollar backer and GalCiv2-veteran, but really haven't gotten too much time into GalCiv3 yet. Now I'm supremely hyped and excited!

Fighters should be upgraded and produced on the carrieres automaticaley, but : 1) It has to cost time and ressources 2) You could add a button on the fleets/carriers to turn of the auto upgrades if u need to save ressources.

Hi. Love the series, and also love hardcore strategy multiplayer. I was skeptical to the lack of simultaneous turns, but must say the turn by turn system works nicely, at least up to 4-6 players (the rest can be AIs, and the AI actually works for MP in this game and is getting better unlike Civ5 Vanilla at least). Will give Stardock credit for implementing a system where you can do whatever you like during the wait times, included the ship designer. Light years better then how Civ5 im

Yep, been there from day one. I suggest to turn off auto Upgrades for multiplayer for now.
It's emotionless because it tries to mimic the loud speaker voices we often hear in Science Fiction Movies with a female AI voice, like for instance in the end scenes of Alien 2, or the emotionless sound of the computer HAL in A Space Odyssey (but here with a male AI voice).

I'll arrange a a 6 player game playing every sunday from 12 to 17 CET until we have a winner. Setup and rules: Players: 6 (will consider more if interest is high) Minor Races and Pirates: Normal Map: Medium, tight clusters Tech trading: off Custom races: off (only the 8 official ones) FFA: Means all vs all, and no rules for alliances etc. We play the game as you would play it singleplayer.

In later updates of the game I'm sure you'll be able to build Terror Stars, like the Star Wars Death Star. When it comes to ordinary Space Stations my opinion is they are more strategical as stationary. Then you have to pick carefully where to place them, and make harder priorities on what kind of Starbases to build where.
