Look it's the killer rabbit from Monty Python and the holy Grail. Yoda's trying to kill us with laughter.
Fortunately, there are no Arthurian or Crusader-themed empires to try to take out our Master with a Holy Hand Grenade. Even if such a relic were to be found, it would most likely not work in the hands of a pirate... Meanwhile, on the Survey Ship of Doom: The overworked Gerakken protest his latest assignment. "Boss, you want an UNHOLY hand grenade? I'

Ryan, What size maps are you running? For some bizarre reason, my Tiny games crash regularly, but it's never happened on any other map size. COULD be a coincidence. The game manual also suggest checking your version of DirectX if this problem occurs. Apparently there's a "development" version of 8.0 out there that causes some problems with GalCiv. You can try updating that if all else fails.
Correct you are not, none we send you. No beer do the Jedi have. Shame on you for thinking such things....

The GROSS trooper looks puzzled, checks his beer detector, and replies, "Very anomolous reading I am getting here. You either are tea-totallers or have the biggest stash of beer that any of us have ever detected. Very well, we shall leave, for now." FYI: While I don't have the PC game "Freedom Force" that kicked this whole thing off, you may not be aware that the name also refers to a group of Marvel comic-book super-villians. Back in my comic collecting days in the late '80s (sniff!), the then-current iteration of the Brotherhood of Evil Mutants was subcontracted by the American government as an enforcement group to "convince" other mutant types to register with the American government. Mystique - now played in the movies
Obiwon. You just hated the Love boat because after it and fantasy Island were over, that Star Wars clone Battlestar Gallactica came on.
Pontius, don't be hasty - I LIKED Galactica! If it has Lorne Greene, John Colicos, special effects and a couple of hot chicks, it must be good! Uhh...now that Galactica 1980 crap...that's another story. :sniff!: Gerakken, congrats on the recruiting. Hadn't realized the movie thing would make such an impact here. Looks like we're

Starstormer, Playing the heck out of this game ourselves, we'd hate to lose anybody to a simple technical issue. The only sound issue shown in the manual for the sale version is: When I go to the planet screen and some other screens I hear crackling on my speakers. Some sound drivers do not properly support multiple streaming of MP3s within the same process. If you update your sound drivers to the latest version and make sure you have DirectX 8.0 or later i
Oh we got the full bar baby..... It wouldn't be the Survey ship of Doom without it.
Just had a horrifying vision in my head. - Swell of music to "The Love Boat" theme, as performed by Kit: "The DOOOOOM ship Soooon will be making another run The DOOOOOM ship Promises plunder foooor everyone..." - EBZ flashing his pearly whites from behind the bar, striking his best Isaac the Bartender thumbs-up pose NO , it's too painful to

Rivard, Your nickname is just a display title and shouldn't have an effect. Your PLAYER name is what the Metaverse uses to link a game submission to you, and that's showing up in your profile as jonesmj2. Try submitting one under that name and see what happens. As for the older games, you need to have a live Internet connection when you finish a game in order to have the Submit option. If you still have the saved games from before you won/lost, you can try reloading them and fi
Wooohooo. More Tequila for me then. Cuervo 1800, Triple Sec, and sweet and sour mix, shaken and served on the rocks.... MM Margarita.Oh and serve it with a jigger of Grand Marnier Drop in and swill.
Thought you guys just had cases and bottles in the hold. Did somebody build a full-service bar? Ol' Ben always did know his way around a bar...

Serafim, Dreadnoughts show up in the midgame (after battleships), while others come later. JavaScout's guide may help you out - take a look. http://webpages.charter.net/trevorpowdrell/

Master Yoda, fellow Jedi, and guests, Asking people (umm, including me) to remember how to spell "Tal-Der Riesen" in the chat room at 5:00 AM proved unrealistic - I've followed my Master's lead of changing nicknames twice in the same week. Besides, as a Senator I should probably use a name that people have heard of before. Apologies to whoever grabbed "Obi-Wan Kenobi" and "Ben Kenobi" as nicknames already, but you're not posting on the boards and you're not in the Metaverse.

Idle, If you're interested in the topic that dominated the evening (morning?), I think there's to be a continuation, although I can't seem to read the notes I made at 5:00 AM for an exact time...Check the end of your "recording" for the conversation between Ray and Yoda - that should give you the info. On a side note, asking people to remember how to spell "Tal-Der Riesen" in the wee hours of the mornin' proved unrealistic - I've followed my Master's lead of changing nicknames

(The Jedi uses the powers of the Force to strengthen the coffee, marshalling his faculties...ugh, long night...) Lo! One claims to have succeeded in spying on a group including the Mighty Spymaster! What is this disturbance in the Metaverse? idle, if you were in there, why not speak up? Opinions are always worth listening to - the more the merrier.

Thank you for the honor, Master Yoda. I shall do my best to combine my regular activities as a Jedi Knight with those of a Senator. (frantically whipping through pages of the Jedi Code of Conduct Manual, non-abridged version) There's no, ummm, extra paperwork associated with this, is there? And I can pick a lightsaber color that isn't blue or green, right? [Message Edited]

Assuming that the blue pirate with a quill is Gerakken, there's a problem. We can see him. NOBODY sees the Spymaster outside the Survey Ship of Doom...we just find traces of his presence afterwards. Disturbances in the Force, cigarette butts, etc. Might want to replace him with EBZeroMatrix passed out in a tequila coma.
