Let them say we walked with giants. Giant user manuals. [e digicons][/e]

The Yor has always been a solid favorite, although I morally object to myself having them as a favorite. This is obviously a weakness of the flesh! A well oiled presentation, from this humble perspective... Can feel the energy surging already, in preparation for next week! Although, if you are a "fleshling", I recommend using wires like in Battlestar Galactica, because they got that one right. ;-) *Dreamingly drowns in the screenies*
Looks like this will beat the insects actually. There is still some snow left. Mbwahahaha! Take that you little intruders! Now for a very manageable waiting game!
The balance factor would be the cost perhaps, it is a game, not a (galactic) simulator as such. Replicator technology? [e digicons];)[/e] I really enjoy these updates, and indeed improvements that make game systems more viable!
Differentiation never bored anyone to death. Those harsh environments will have to do the job instead. Now that is how balance is maintained in a proper universe! Good one!
This is how the Kessel run was made possible, in less than twelve parsecs, no doubt. As for tourism, I guess the old trick of dumping people into a resort close to plants sending out minute spores making everyone happy after some inhalation, might work. The only backdraw being the possible carnivorous nature of these botanical wonders, because they don't develop such mechanisms just for fun. Not to spoil the day for any vegans, or Alpha Lyraeans... Looking forward to the appro
That's one glorious Government selection screen! Even the "Eye of Sauron" made it in there! [e digicons][/e]
Yes, continuous and persistent emergence of typos is a natural phenomenon, just as observable and provable as say, gravity. For some reason this is largely ignored when the various forces of the universe is listed in the textbooks. It is a mystery... ! But at least the terminology is still very space oriented! You could for example say that, "Near Bay" ships, strangely worked in most large fleet situations. and for starbases. For a squadron of fighters, maybe not so much...&nb
Looks good. Nay, grand! [e digicons]:D[/e] Happy to see the Bazaar getting some more flexibility, as it was like "grab some early ships and then largely forget about it", on my part.... ( Well, the past tense is a bit premature, but still... ! )
Nice, got me in the (Space Opera) mood for a proper 2018 campaign!
Well, without the DLC we would have no improved Snathi, some companies that shall not be mentioned, might have taken the DLC concept into and beyond the shady area though, creating some bad feelings that have surfaced of late, in the "common pool" of knowledge. Unfortunate, in that sentiments spill into other areas, regardless of individual policies. It is how the public operate, especially when so utterly connected. I can completely understand the tactical reasons for laying low now, and hop
The "no game left behind" philosophy, is a somewhat rare sight in these rather dark digital times of jumping ship early. Admittedly moved on to Crusade personally, but can really appreciate the effort still, for it goes beyond the individual sphere!
Good priorities! It is also far too early to be excited, but the body was not compliant in this matter! Yarr! Onward, forward, and to the future!
I'm so fossilized that I had to google GOG, otherwise this is quite the balance pass, from what I can see. For those (seemingly) eternal textual errors, the brain tend to auto-correct (at least the) obvious typos at any rate. Now that is the true gift of the internet era... apart from how you tend to miss your own, due to that same effect... Oops... !
Noticed other people also had "functional" black holes recently, looking at the Steam commentaries. Very immersive, for now you truly fear those things. And I'm not even being sarcastic, it just add to the mystery, for these cosmic entities. This regarding a strange navigational pull, that appears when you go near them, making everything else in the universe slow down. ( As a kid I was with my grandfather and grandmother, and they were playing cards down at the neighbours in the flat.
The Stardock Troopers will have to combat these bugs. Maybe that is why the Fleet need more direct input, for they just do the flying!
Being a True Neutral (RPG Term), is probably reserved for the artificial realm. I consider it not to be very human. No going back now, the ship has left the shores! Anything above the MAINTENANCE level, is a bonus! [e digicons]:banhammer:[/e]
It is full of stars. Making a lot of probe droids. [e digicons][/e]
Need to grab my old friends from the Avion Exaltation again, for the Crusade now. There is something very old school and Flash Gordon-ish about them, which really appeals to my inner aesthetical orientation, somehow. Now that we can assign ships to everyone in detail, any more extras would at any rate (optionally) kill off the actual play time, to no end. I've spent like two hours setting up the main player, you know the initial play-through will not go well, with all this preparation. But wi
Oh glorious day! Oh happy day! To sneak in some "Black Adder" based commentary. Looks like steam is on the job, will check this out later today, when time can be allocated! Like a lot of it! [e digicons][/e] Edit: Well, now I'm ready to play, but is of course tired and need to hit the sack. But the micromanagement support is outstanding, given that I have used 5 hours to set up the game, with individual ships and other exploratory adventures, before even get
The Krynn went into the Galactic dust bin, inferiority was their ultimate sin. For it is not human to play to win? [e digicons][/e] The week is not for the meek, when the Crusade you seek!
The street will hold all the secrets, remember visiting that screen in GalCiv II, with the random citizen commentaries a lot, now that it's up. It was like taking the pulse on society, more so than a spread sheet, can connect you. Although I'm going to be whipped by the spread sheet enthusiasts from here and to Pluto, for that. And also for daring to mention Pluto, like it is some kind of significant object, of course. It goes on and on! All of this looks very vibrant,
Be prepared for all the Star Wars nerds raging on Stardock for ruining their one day of the year.... Poor Star Wars nerds, still upset about finding out Mr Blonde is Keyser Soze's father....
I find your lack of faith disturbing. [e digicons][/e] One week to create the largest "do not disturb sign" in the Galaxy t
Galciv could make their own ship, but couldnt use super star destroyers. You can as a player make more super star destroyers, and put them on steam.
Just a fond wish for more building blocks. Seeing how the steam page was up in the article. Can't have Stardock sued from here to eternity for copyright infringement, at any rate. Unless the Loronar Corporation have started to license those ships out
Staaar bases, places, races, faces ( It's to the tune of Star Glider on the Amiga, back in the Pleistocene somewhere). This will be MONUMENTAL! P.S. The Empire need more Super Star Destroyers. The current pieces sort of don't want to go there.
