Any idea on ETA for final version? I don't have time for beta versions and mod maintenance got to the point is giant **** ** *** so I try to avoid it :)
Fixed an issue that cause icons to vibrate (especially over planets)
That was a bug??? I thought it's designed to attract attention to important planets ;)\ BTW, Good timing, I am almost done putting together my new PC. I got 32GB of ram, guess what was excuse why I need so much...
No, Government ships are not included in individual civilization ships set. If you change them it will be for everyone.
I will add one little bug myself, this didn't happen in 3.96 and I did not moded anything related since then. Bug appears when I have little money while looking at minig bases. Xeno archeology module appears as grayed out even thou there is no relict in range. When I have more credits it disapeard. Sorry no save game :(
Did that, files are fine, I replaced icons myself (I don't like seeing duplicates) I think memory is problem, I load save today but forgot to close firefox and save didn't even load. But I did get some extra debug lines: Debug Message: ERROR: (CD3D11Renderer) Failed to create a vertex buffer ((8007000e) Za mało zasobów pamięci, aby można było zakończyć tę operację. Its getting late and I am tiered so "I'll will write this only once" Every time I load this save game and open reserch screen I get CTD. It actually happened before on starting new turn but I was able to avoid it by changing research to different tech. Now I can't. I am not sure what is the reason, I might be simply running out of memory. Its been some time since I played map of this size. Usually I prefer one level smaller but I wanted to see how this one will work out with all techn

You should be able to build supply ships (send production to planets from shipyards), ignore Engineering ships, those are disabled, idea that didn't make sense I suspect.
Cool, thou I am curious what happened to Strange new World (DLC13)? Btw, between 11-15 Is my week of so knowing my luck release will be soon after may 15?
Glad you fixed it, these kind of problems can be problematic. But also by accident you gave me flashback of similar issue back from windows 98 when I had to manually set PCI device interruptions (I don't actually know what they were, we called them that) Those were dark days...
I also noticed that the AI doesn't remove its shipyards after you assimilate a planet. There needs to be an algorithm that does something like if the shipyard sponsor is zero then move shipyard to a planet that can sponsor it.
there is, its called "destroy" console command :) But seriously, that is annoying to deal with.
I saw AI trade ships going weird places looking for planets but ultimately they found something. I saw AI colony ship drifting in space but that is usually late game when there is nothing left to colonize/in range. But warships freezing in space is concerning. Hopefully on Monday someone takes a look at it.

from: https://forums.galciv3.com/498419/page/1/#3772908
The 'big cleanup' is in the works for GalCiv III 4.0. Development on 4.0 is a work in progress as developer time becomes available (btw, we are hiring new C++ devs here..). So as we've discussed in the past, we'd really like to find a way to make modding more robust, though that's easier said than done because of the way we did our da

I prefer to stay as far away as possible from anything "Facebook". I do have account because a lot of ppl I know use messenger, nothing more.

I can't start full new game right now and I am only able to test my old savegame. After going through few turns I can't be sure about turn time (looks little faster) but I see UI freeze less and is generally more responsive. (4 physical cores/4 threds/16 ram). Next week I will start new game that would generally be on my system limit, then it difference should be more noticeable.
You could not wait until weekend, how can I work in home now that I have my mods to update??? :P
I always play the max zoom level where I can see all the ships, planets, bases, ect.... in full detail. Right before they start to go to icons.
You probably must do a lot of scrolling :) For me disadvantage of having 3d models is that things happen slower, like battles and, and FOV is just way to small.
I wish the serialization issue was fixable. You really notice it when loading that saved game. It's just endless loading and creating of meshes and textures and all that.
Back to original subject... I wonder would it be possible to create alternative option where game load one model for all large ships, one model for all small ships and so on. Would that help with performance? Or it doesn't matter

You know a lot more than I do in this subject but still you get things wrong or not find them at all. I even know about bug in your mod but you annoyed me so I decided to keep that info to myself. Maybe it was not politicly correct reaction but sure as hell deserved and fun to read. [e digicons][/e] [e digicons][/e] [e digicons][/e] for Frogboy
Some of this will need some beta testing because it changes the way the AI deals with fleets a bit. This wouldn't do anything until the SECOND turn of your saved game but after that it should, in theory, shave off quite a few seconds.
I probably won't have time to start new game right now but I have some late game saves from games with about 10 civs on 16gb maps (sorry I never remember their names) If opt in
With the benefit of hindsight, we should have made GalCiv III: Crusade into GalCiv IV and then based everything off of that.
Ah what would I do with benefits of hindsight... But I am surprised you supported base game this long. I would drop it long before 3.0. Considering nr of variables it must be pain ****** to support basically two games in one.
